Friendly staff, central location [bit noisy as a result]
Bath tub was a positive
Poor Internet conection leasing to having to jump on to thier various equally poor connections. Confusing tv, took me an age to work it out (on me this one!) Brken lift all weekend - not a problem until it leadi to a v v long wait to access the remaing one to check out as it was also being used by cleaning team, along with other guests wanting to check out.

Location excellent breakfast selection very good. Room was large.
Furniture in room needs re upholstery and hot water so hot it couldn’t be used as no mixer tap as it was at close to boiling point and could have scalded. We asked for room to be cleaned and items were replaced but bed was not made, I would have thought this was part of cleaning room.

Great location and view, lovely spa facilities and really good breakfast
The decor and furniture is rather tired and old fashioned, and could do with some modernisation to bring up to standard and to reflect the price charged.

Location and size of rooms.
Threadbare chairs in rooms.Decaying paintwork and rooms all need updating.
This is probably as hotel has been up for sale .

The hotel, staff, facilities and location were all really good. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the rooms clean, comfortable and good sized. Breakfast was also quite good. And we had a lovely view of the sea from our room. It was excellent. We definitely would come back.
The sofa chairs in the rooms were threadbare and could do with a bit of an upgrade.

I had to pay additional for breakfast but the hotel offerings were very good. The staff were all very helpful and the room comfortable and quiet. I slept well. I was happy with the pool and other leisure facilities. I enjoyed dinner in the bistro. There is a ramp to gain access to the foyer.
Rather a lot of steps up and down to lift and breakfast room. The wifi signal in the room was poor, so that only a few tv channels worked.
The pool was warm but not really hot, which I really needed for my hydrotherapy exercise so I only went in once.

On entering the hotel reception, my immediate thoughts were that it was very tired but as I already commented the hotel was first class
