I was greeted by the really friendly proprietor. He was charming. He quickly moved my room as I was originally on the top floor but have a very bad knee. He instantly sympathised and placed me on the ground floor. He was helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable. Everything was provided. I really enjoyed my stay and would really recommend this hotel especially for its location.

The location is excellent - close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and major sights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and of excellent quality.
The only thing that drops the rating is the small and uncomfortable bed.

Great location, sea view, nice host, quite good breakfasts, good value, comfortable beds.
Microscopic sloppily renovated bathroom (low water pressure), paper thin walls and even worse windows - constant chatter and noise from neighbouring rooms and people outside. Breakfast occasionally cold. Staff who make the beds daily could also vacuum the room.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with the tastiest bacon I've had.
My room was in the basement, and the sounds from upstairs when the staff started working sometimes woke me early (6:30).

I had an awesome stay at New Steine Hotel - B&B! Everything exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, very close to the seafront and easy to get around Brighton. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-presented, and I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
