Very Good
Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Room was fine enough. Shower was good. Good sound proofing, there was lots going on in the reception area but I couldn;t hear it in my room.
The view outside was just a fire escape and some dirty walls (I didn't have a sea view). No minifridge in the room. Bathroom was a bit small, but clean.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Great location on the seafront and a very attractive hotel with a nice, friendly atmosphere.
We requested a quiet room and we had a quiet room
Good to get parking in the hotel car park too.
All good.

Fair
Great location, nice breakfast.
Severely overpriced for the tiny mews room we were given. Very poor water pressure. Room was cold. Not the cleanest.

As it was our, they upgraded us for free to an amazing sea view room with a balcony. It was so special and I’m really grateful to them for this!

Disappointing
Location
Room needs renovation. Bathroom floor was soft and I thought it had possible water damage. Smelled musty.

Great location and awesome Hotel.
We were upgraded to a superior Beachview balcony room which was awesome.
The room was fantastic, great views, comfortable bed and good bathroom.
The buffet breakfast was delicious.
The on-site car park was a real benifits and easy to access with great entry instructions.
We would definitely stay again!
None it was terrfic.

Very Good
The decor of the hotel was really interesting. The staff had manipulated some towels to look like swans and added false Rose petals which was cute. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. Any staff that we spoke to were polite and helpful and the breakfast food was good.
One of the first things I noticed was a huge cobweb at the top of the curtains. The towels and dressing gown provided could probably do with replacing as they weren't as soft as they could be. The amount of food available at breakfast at 0930 meant you had to wait for food.

Staying here was like being part of history. A grand old building right on the waterfront at Brighton Beach. Onsite Cafe and restaurant were awesome and reasonably priced. ONliste parking as well..wow
Absolutely, nothing, the perfect stay. Ok ok if there was an ything was the size of the hotel...very easy to get lost in all the passageways and levels.

Poor
Location.
Very friendly staff, throughout.
Whole hotel is grubby and needs a complete overhaul. Don’t visit the public loos in the basement, foul!
Washbasin taps in bathroom - couldn’t find hot or cold, both produced same lukewarm water, so undrinkable (non potable they used to call it)! The tiny (150ml) bottled water they supply did not compensate.
What little parking they had at the front of the building, has been removed and a raised garden installed instead.
6 steps up to front door, hand rails finish before the top step. Revolving entrance door. Try that lot partially disabled with walking stick and suitcase! 4 further steps up to the lift. We were on the 1st floor and there were more steps in the corridor. 2 Steps up to bathroom from the bedroom.
Bar seating all too low. Restaurant closed on Sunday, the only place to eat was the bar.
Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for breakfast on Sunday. If they are going to rum Murder Mystery nights, they should expect a busy breakfast period. They were totally unprepared, which leads me to think there is a lack of communication between ‘bookings’ and ‘service staff’.
There is a great eatery on the adjacent seafront (50 yards), called the Meeting Place. Nice breakfasts.

Quite dated now but the lovely staff made up for it!
My room was near noisy extractor fans on the roof.
