Disappointing
The location was great.
We were given our first room in the Mews area of the hotel. In walking into the room the smell of damp was strong and there was mould at the bottom of the curtains. I had booked a privilege room which we weren’t allocated initially. The carpet was stained, there were torn holds in the bed base and the general appearance was so disappointing that I complained to staff in reception. We weren’t allocated initially given an alternative room, this time the Privilege that I had actually booked which was situated on the upper floor of the news area. Although this was better, I think anything would have been an improvement to the initial room we weren’t allocated initially given!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was good although not impressed run out of steak.
Toaster was antiquated and dangerous. Cleaning wasn't great. Towel rail dusty. No toilet brush. Remote control needs new batteries.

Wonderful
An absolutely awesome location and the room we had has a huge balcony overlooking the beach which is awesome. Walk to all the restaurants and the room itself was very comfortable and met expectations. Would recommend a stay in the hotel as long as the temperature is less than 30 degrees outside
There is no Air conditioning. The rooms get very hot in a heat wave (when we happened to be there) and they supply a small fan which did not assist much

Easy check in, parking, location
Decor was nice and the room was quirky
Bar and bar staff were great
Unfortunately didn’t get to have breakfast as we had to leave early
Most of the hotel was really clean and tidy and had some nice touches but there are a few bits that need updating
