Very Poor
We had a twin room when you opened the window the window sill was covered in pigeon feaces the room and especially bathroom you could not turn around in it, there was a constant awful stench, which we did complain about, it was room 120 . I paid money to have a relaxing comfortable weekend I work in health care 15 hours a day 6 days a week and the room was far from inviting. We spent most of time outside as we were heaving due to the stench in the room very disappointed I stay in alot of mercure hotels regarding work, and expected them to be of the same standard the hotel was clean the room we had I would use as a store room.
The room

Great location lovely clean room and bathroom
The balcony was a stunning view except it needs a bit of paint and a clean to spruce it up to match the high standards of the room

I had a double balcony room on the sea. Beautifully decorated.
I was only surprised that the hotel was unable to organise Sunday papers for me.

Wonderful
Love the balcony, love the view love the room shower was brilliant
The only thing that I could complain about was the bed I found it very uncomfortable. Everything was recorded and the pillars too so I’ve come away with a really bad back.

Wonderful
The hotel was lovely and comfortable with the staff exceptionally friendly, they made you feel really welcome and went out of their way to make our stay great. We loved the huge comfy bed and how quiet our room was. Breakfast was great and with lots of choice.
Rooms service was limited with many things not available to order.

Poor
Car park was convenient yet expensive.
Booked a twin room as we were 2 family members. The beds were adjoined so not twin at all. Hotel and room had a musty smell and there was no lift to rooms. Parking fee also very expensive for an insecure car park. Dead rat in car park topped it off.

Pleasant
Breakfast was decent and had a good choice.
Location is a bit out of the way of things. If you want complete peace and quiet then it's perfect. I was given a room where the staff were aware that there were problems with the TV and wifi but didn't mention it. This was a very disappointing attitude by the staff in question and poor that I didn't have the option of a room with working wifi as the hotel was by no means full. This caused me a few problems, though I appreciate the efforts made to fix the TV problem.
