Noisy room overlooking rooftops with air conditioning units. Room is presented with ear plugs on the bed side which is a good sign of things to come.

I didn't have the breakfast as I don't eat much in the morning, but it looked very good. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. I've been there before but not stayed over and the hotel was ideally placed for the venue we were visiting (Concorde 2)

Location on the seafront ideal
Very small bathroom more like a closet considering we had king double room. The room was above a nightclub with loud music until 4am.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff at breakfast were pleasant and the food was delicious. Definitely good value for money. Even though we didn't book a sea view room, we got one with a view of the pier also. Check-in and checkout was easy to do
Unfortunately the walls/floors/ceilings are quite thin so you can hear when people are moving around or doors slamming. You can hear the music from the club downstairs but the hotel quite clearly outlines this in their description and provides earplugs for guests

There was a scaffolding outside. I would not have booked sea views if I knew there was scaffolding. I raised it on arrival and they shut me off that it was noted on the site! The windows were nailed shut probably due to the scaffolding. The fridge was warm. There was only one small towel and two large for 2 people. But they were nice quality and size.

Poor
Property was clean but still needs attention. Curtains did not pull and we were at the front with a lamp post outside the room so it was lit up like Blackpool illuminations.
We were not told on booking that they had scaffolding all over the front of the building. On booking my main criteria was a sea view and obviously with scaffolding all over the front of the building, the sea view was blighted. I do think it would be fair to tell the guest on booking that this is the case. Also overnight there was road resurfacing directly outside the hotel. I cannot begin to tell you what the noise was like and it was there from early evening to approximately 2 am and then restarted at 5 am. The two nights were absolutely horrendous and although they had supplied earplugs this did not begin to block out the noise. I came home absolutely shattered. I do feel that if a hotel knows that this is going on, they need to inform their booking guests as a good night sleep is essential for a few nights away.

Bright, clean and comfortable sea room. Friendly staff, breakfast was delicious. Great location. Highly recommend.
Scaffolding up so blocked quite a bit of the view of the sea and road resurfacing right outside made the first night very noisy. Just unfortunate guest wasn’t notified before stay but it didn’t spoil my time In brighton

The room had benefited for a recent refurb and was very comfortable. Good modern telly and the hot shower was powerful. A plentiful breakfast was excellent value at only £10 if you pre-book. Came with quality preserves and a good Lincolnshire-style sausage. Nice friendly waitress.
The lift had broken down just before I arrived but was quickly repaired. Noisy resurfacing outside all night. Luckily I'd brought earplugs. Ugly scaffolding obscured my room with a sea view

Wonderful
Stayed in the super king suite which was large and clean with a really comfortable bed. Lovely sea view. Had everything you might need, fan, iron, ironing board. Bath and shower which was great. Stayed 2 nights and had towels changed. All staff including the cleaner were helpful and friendly. Originally booked for one night but stayed for 2.
Currently scaffolding on the front of the building which did obscure the view a little. Hairdryer was useless as it is an old on the wall one so not very powerful. The lift broke on day 2 but was sorted quickly. Apart from that it was an amazing stay.

The property was a 10/10, lovely location, lovely staff and good rooms.
However, I paid extra for the sea view before going there, only to reach and find out that there are renovations going on around the hotel, and the windows were covered by materials which hid the views of the sea and the pier.

Location is excellent, very clean and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely sea view.
Shower door too small to get into a fairly big shower. Scaffolding outside the window although can't be helped. Bacon very dry and overcooked.
