Excellent location opposite the train station and a car park. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spotless.
There was no preferential parking rate. Clearly it is an old hotel that has been updated to look modern. Attention to detail needed and some pain in the communal areas. Also, get rid of the artex ceilings! Would benefit from more lighting in the room.

Very close to the railway station but easy walk to the town centre. Friendly, welcoming staff, a clean, comfortable room. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced and a decent menu. Will definitely be coming back for a return visit.

The location is perfect and the staff were friendly.
We had a door leading into another room where there were children of another family. Hence, it was extremely noisy. The parents of the kids were in the opposite room, which was a bit strange.

Great hotel, very friendly staff at check in and we were given our room two hours early at no extra charge. Very comfy beds and a nice room. Only complaint was there was an old blood stain on my duvet cover and it took reception 2 phone calls and 45 minutes to change which isn’t ideal at 11pm at night when you have a child. However I would still stay at the hotel again as it was a great price and great location near the station.
Housekeeping needs to be improved.
