The room was a good size and had a King size bed that was very comfortable. There was plenty of car parking onsite which was free. The hotel is situated about 3 miles outside of Brighton but there is a bus service that runs about every 20 minutes so Brighton is very accessible. The breakfast was good and we had a great meal in the restaurant in the evening.
There is no lift so you have to carry bags upstairs.

Location, big room, comfortable bed
We have stayed before and the price has gone up significantly with nothing changed re facilities etc.
Also the hospitality tray was very poor.

Excellent location for north Brighton and accessible from A27. Plenty of parking for hotel guests.
The room was good. The bathroom and shower were very clean. The guest WIFI was good.
The À la carte "continental" breakfast was very basic and overpriced for what you get. A choice of a single small box of cereal or porridge delivered with pastry, muffin and a slice of toast. Fruit was a golden delicious apple with not other choice...
There was a small pot of natural yoghurt included.
There was no self service and no choice of fresh or tinned fruits. No choice of breads or ham / cheese and other foods you'd expect.
The other cooked breakfast options varied in quality and presentation between days. The smoked salmon option was nice.
The Service felt understaffed and slow - the fault of management not the waitress who worked hard to keep on top of everything whilst also running reception for guests checking in and out.
Mattress was ok but definitely not as comfortable as a Hypnos noted on the website.

Room and bed fine.
Breakfast awful. Very slow,poor, disorganised service - ran out of coffee. Cooked breakfast came before cereal, croissants burnt, scrambled eggs hard (difficult to achieve!), steak inedible - knife wouldn't go through it.
Apart from that it was delicious!!!!!

The staff are friendly and the room was very clean. We like that there is parking and that it’s only a short drive to Brighton centre.
The room was hot but there was a fan so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Great location. Easy parking.
Staff was super helpful and friendly.
Stairs to parking lot were not cleaned while we were there.
One of our rooms was really stuffy since it was hot. Staff tried to help but wasn’t much that could be done since the building is old and it was not safe to open the window more.

Sofa bed was made up with all bedding for my son to stay on. Room was fairly clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were accommodating.
The only bread option was sour dough, which is fine if you are only staying a night or so but we were there for many days and it blocked up my son’s tummy as he wasn’t getting enough fibre and made him quite poorly. Hotel was quite expensive considering how far out of town it was. There wasn’t a warning for hotel guests that smart dress was expected for dining. If there were some lower cost dinner options we would have eaten at the restaurant more but found we had to arrange to go elsewhere a fair amount.

Comfortable, modern bedrooms. Shower rather than bath, Great restaurant. Free on site car parking a boon in Brighton.
Breakfast a bit limited choice - especially no pastries/bread offerring, no cereals no fruit. A mini buffet of these basics would enhance breakfast considerably. Struck me as unimaginative.
