The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good and the room we ended up in was fine.
The scaffolding along the whole of the front of the building, which we hadn’t been told about. We were a wedding party and had booked months in advance. Fortunately we happened to pass the hotel just before the wedding and asked for rooms not affected by scaffolding. However, despite this we still ended up in a room affected and had to move and my daughter had to down grade. We expected some kind of compensation for this but so far have received nothing.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast OK.
We had to change our room, as there was a noise from the kitchen extractor, which they were obviously aware of, which meant I was awake most of the night. The Duty manager was good in offering to change our room.
