Great location and clean
Air con not working. They must have been aware as we were left a fan in our room that didn’t really help. It was so hot during the night. Fortunately we were only staying one night. When I told reception in the morning they just said they will fix it for me. They should have really fixed it before I arrived.

Location is perfect and the room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent.

Location of room. Seemed to be in an Annex, not part of main hotel and door opened to outside. Humming noise all the time as think air con unit above ceiling.
Room seemed bit dated.

I stayed at Hotel du Vin the night before the Brighton Marathon and had a comfortable, albeit expensive, stay. We were given a small but cozy room on the top floor, a bit of a walk from reception. For the price, the room was particularly small, but the bed was comfortable, it had all the facilities you’d need for a one-night stay, and most importantly, it was quiet.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the price of the hotel in relation to the size of the room, along with breakfast being an additional £22 per person. (If you have time, I’d recommend checking out the great selection of cafes nearby instead.)

Lovely room good facilities and pleasant bar staff.
Restaurant was very expensive, only people eating there. Food was a little disappointing for the cost. Breakfast waiter was dismissive.
