Excellent customer service and best bed ever
My room. No net curtain so overlooked and had to keep curtain closed. Sink very slow to drain noisy room with an outside staff door banging all the time

Very Good
Room was comfortable and appreciated the bathroom with both bath and separate shower. Location was great just off the sea front and so close to The Lanes.
Went to pay my bill and someone else had signed against my room for their breakfast - fortunately all sort but was a little worrying. I think the problem is all the rooms were individually named and some were hard to pronounce - a corresponding number might have helped.

Exceptional
The hotel service was truly impeccable: friendly, warm, and heartfelt. The staff ensured we had a smooth and seamless check-in, especially after learning that we had cycled all the way from London. They kindly allowed us to store our bikes safely during our stay, which made everything so much easier for us. We were also pleasantly surprised and deeply touched by a handwritten postcard and some delicious treats to congratulate us on our arrival. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture. The following day, even after we checked out, the team generously allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel without any time pressure so we could continue exploring Brighton. One of the staff members even recommended her favorite coffee spots, which added a lovely local touch to our visit. We were met with genuine kindness and heartfelt hospitality throughout our stay - something that feels increasingly rare these days. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Disappointing
Location, decor and toiletries
Being asked when checked in if I wanted to pay £10 or £20 to upgrade the room because we were staying in the smallest room in the hotel. TV didn’t work. Uncomfortable mattress. No atmosphere in bar. Really flat and bright lights.

The food was totally amazing!
Just wanted to mention that the staff should really try to keep a closer eye on what's going on with customers at both the bar and the tables.

Lovely big room and bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable. It’s a great location. Nice its sat slightly back off the seafront so a bit quieter.
Quite a few stains on the carpet. I felt the Bathroom could have been cleaner. There is a coffee machine but no cups and no facilities to make a cup of tea in the room.
