Very convenient just off the sea front, room was large with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very polite and friendly and the breakfast thou not a typical English breakfast was superb with many different choices .

Small room but characterful and great staff and breakfast
The sound of other rooms toilet contents descending in the soil pipe that went through my room.
The filter coffee was poor. Better to buy a bean to cup machine or provide cafetierres on each table.

The hotel is lovely , very clean and very welcoming and friendly! Staff are so nice and breakfast was exceptional, great variety of fresh tasty food, rooms are nice and clean , comfortable beds and clean lovely shower rooms , would most definitely stay again and recommend

Brilliant location, very polite helpful staff, great breakfast for me.
A little noisy at night (not the hotels fault but it did mean we slept poorly). My partner would have been very happy if there had been some bacon on the menu for breakfast.

Good location, guy who checked us in was very helpful and welcoming and bed was comfy. Room was small but functional for a nights stay. Breakfast was basic but nice and had options for continental.
There were A LOT of stairs to the room and no lift. Shower is very small and hard to get into with sliding door.

We felt very welcomed and looked after from the second the door opened. A fan was found for us, a godsend in suddenly warm weather. The breakfast was astonishing. I would not hesitate to go back again.
I am 65 and didn't feel that safe or comfortable getting in and out of the tall bath tub for my shower.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet selection was excellent . The location was very good, close to interesting sights but very peaceful at night. Lovely, characterful hotel.
The only real problem was my stiff bathroom door. I did have to close it at night to stop light waking me too early. However, one night, I made a lot of noise opening and closing the door and could well have disturbed other guests.
