Disappointing
The friendly staff and spa.
We arrived early and were checked in straight away, as we told room was clean and ready to go. However when in the room, we found that it was very dirty, an earring was found when we pulled back the duvet, a clump of eyelashes were found on the floor, a few small curly hairs on the window seat, dust everywhere, marks on the mirror, rubbish under the toilet and more. When we complained we were given a complimentary drink and changed to another room. Although this room was slightly better, it was still dusty and had stains everywhere. The staff were very friendly but we will not be staying again.

Good
Good location at the beach, close to main street for shopping and nightlife. Spa facilities are nice but all underground. Narrow stairs climbing. The view in the rooms towards beach are wow effect. Nice and neat rooms.
Access to small elevator hidden. Choose a good down time to use the spa otherwise you must like to share privacy. But nonetheless nicely build and clean.

Fair
Spa was ok , do not let the sea view for extra price trick you , you won’t be seeing any sea unless you stick your head out of the window
Everything else staff seemed very new , cleaners do nothing more than fluff pillows , and tell you they don’t have time as they are finishing soon

Great location, Small but fonctionnel room, Everything in working order. Great sauna and in my view a reasonable cost for the stay
The only thing that bother me was the out of order lift and the many doors I had to open before being able to reach the bedroom

Poor
Location, Bed was comfortable, Staff was happy and polite
Whole place was tired, room was small for the money paid, lift was broken, paint was peeling of ceiling in room, grout was lifting in bathroom, no handles on some windows in the room, window where dirty, corridor carpets stained. Everytime we walk passed the reception there was another customer complaining!!

Good
Beautiful hotel on the seafront. Great gym and spa facilities (pool, Jacuzzis, steam and sauna) and restaurant food was gorgeous. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The place was clean and in good condition and the bed was super comfy! I would definitely stay again.
There were quite a few amenities not working or out of order- no lift (tiny service lift only) hydro pool not in use in the spa. USB sockets in the room did not seem to be working. Also the room I was in (312) is at the back of the hotel and adjacent to a building site (no early morning noise thankfully) but still not very appealing.

Great location and an easy walk from the train station. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. The bar was friendly and relaxed. Stunning sunset view from our room.

From check in to check out the whole process was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful with everything. The full English breakfast was amazing. Sitting in the bay window watching the sunrise was stunning.

Pleasant
Hotel was in good condtion , we liked our room, spacious and well maintained .huge bed, good bathroom, coffee , tea and gin all complimentary. Spa was lovely and well kept, the hotel is in good condtion and 4 star quality.
The lift was out of order when we arrived and remained so for our entire four-day stay. Our biggest disappointment, however, was the quality of the customer service; the staff lacked the attention to detail expected of a 4-star establishment. The experience felt more like a self-catering stay than a luxury hotel. Reception staff lacked knowledge of both the local area and the hotel itself. When asked for information, they simply directed us to a WhatsApp group. Since there was no information about the facilities provided in the room, this digital-only approach felt impersonal. To illustrate our experience: one staff member complained when we used the service lift while the main lift was broken—a very inconsiderate attitude toward guests with children, buggies, and heavy luggage heading to the 5th floor. Additionally, the bar staff ignored me while I waited to be served, even though the area was quiet. While the hotel building itself is of 4-star quality, the service was unfortunately only 2-star.

Our room with a wonderful sea view. The bed was very comfortable. Location excellent. Well- equipped room. Lovely gift of gin and tonic.
Noisy fan in the loo. Cold air conditioning on ( why?). Broken lift. We thought breakfast was included but hot breakfast was extra. Parking was 2 blocks away and cost £35.00

Great location and one of our rooms was amazing with beautiful views and a comfortable sitting area
We were really looking forward to going to the spa however it was too crowded. That is actually why I chose this hotel. Perhaps it was the time of year.

Wonderful
The room was beautifully decorated, and clean, with a stunning view of Shelter Hall, the beach and seafront. The bed was huge (Super King) and very comfortable. We loved the window seat and nice touches, like a plate with 2 brownies and Happy Birthday for my partners birthday.
The coffee machine didn't work properly (Nespresso machine but only the lungi side worked, not the espresso side) and because there were only 4 sachets of milk the coffee tasted horrible. You could hear people on the street outside until around 3-3.30am, but it wasn't loud enough to keep you awake and the hotel itself was lovely and quiet
