Location was the propertys only saving grace
Tiny room, very hot and windows didnt open a fan was left but was so filthy no air was coming out. The door of the room rattle everytime the front door went despite being at the top of the building (?6 flights up) making it feel unsecured. Worst nights sleep ever, which considering was staying for a job interview was not good.

I only liked the location. Dogs friendly beach was just by hotel but access was difficult dued to crumbling stairways, so many were cordoned off.
I paid 93 pounds a night for 7 nights with 15 yrs old dog. 3 flights of steep stairs 3 times a day was too much for us both. The room was small. The 6 bulbs hanging arrangement was dusty, over my bed.I had to clean the place. Brighton was also crumbling. a few stairways near hotel was cordoned off. So we had further to walk to get to the beach
I had no-one on the premises to deal with my problem. Every communication was dealt via email. I got no reply here. I left on 2nd night , 21.30 for train back to home, London

The check in process was complicated and it was awful that there was no access to a present human over there to answer questions and help.
Our room wasnt ready at the checking time, while the hotel has a policy of charging for early or late check in! So if you arrive early/late you should pay but when you arrive on time and the room is not ready !
Also shower wasnt clean
In booking.com they didnt mention any point about deposit. A day before checking they sent an SMS for 100 deposit and at the checking time they deducted 200 for deposit!!!

Property hadnt been hoovered, hand soap hadnt been filled up (had to use shower gel), and shower was quite grimy.

The communication. Nobody to talk to by phone, everything was communicated by email, never answer my request for help by not giving me a number to call someone. The emails I received were so long that I couldn't find the keypad number we were waiting for. Won't be recommending

Room was ok
Bed were very uncomfortable, 2 beds were joined together, mattress was very sloppy. Bathroom was very tiny. Not enough suppliers for tea making.Didnt even have a fridge. The fan was useless, didnt work and was very and stuffy at night.

Disappointing
The bedroom had a en suite and it had a microwave, TV, hairdryer, iron and fridge.
The condition of the mattress, the carpet did not look like it had been hoovered in ages. The smell was of stale
Cigarettes and the window was broken and did not shut?! It was freezing!

I was slammed with the most irrelevant and extensive message prior to checking in not only this but I checked into a room I didnt book with an extra bed shoved in and no room to move.
There is no hot tub, theres no mini bar in the room, I had no toilet roll, the tea/coffee were just dumped on the side and I had no hot water through my entire stay. To top this off, I couldnt get any response for my entire stay until I called reception to then be spoken to like crap - I will be contacting trading standards.
Massively disappointed and feeling very ripped off, not to mention the 8 days plus return on a damage deposit - I sound like a Karen but this whole situation was uncalled for and could have been handled so much better.
