Absolutely nothing worse guests house ever !!
This is my worst experience ever .
On arrival I had problems, paid extra for early check in and was informed I will get checked in code 4 pm but it took nearly till 5 pm . Staff was ok but didn't know what there doing could not phone them only communication through text which was not helpful.
I had two rooms. The first room had no light in the bathroom, the bed base was shabby, smoke detector hanging off the ceiling. No cold water only hot water in the shower . Was promised someone will come and have a look at this but this didn't happen. No notice to kind the step when entering the room nearly had an accident.
Then in the second room things went from bad to absolutely worse.
No light in the bathroom again, a whole in the ceiling could see the electrical cables.
The window only stayed open with a piece of wood!
Carpet dirty,.
Then I went to bed next thing I had a feeling of itchiness , got up and bedbugs in the bed .
Keep checking the carpet couldn't see any, moved the bed out and there were lots of them. Was absolutely disgusted with this. Had to sleep with my friend which was not ideal.
Have been bitten twice by bed bugs!
Contact the receptionist next day, no apologies from them , just said will move me to another room which of course I didn't want. Also their ignored my text first and denied that there was a bedbug problem

Nothing. It was disgusting and unsafe and stank of urine
Everything. Beds were filthy. Rooms as well. Bathroom mouldy. Tv wonky. Glass / mirror in walls. Electric cable exposed. Dirt all over walls. Stank. Staff not present or responsiveness. Wifi did not work

The price
The shower would either scould you or be freezing cold. The pictures did not match the room we were given.
The whole building smelt very bad.
The room we were given was very beaten up.

Short walk to sea front.
Everything else. A few days before we arrived (and after any possibility of cancellation) we were asked to send them photos of our passports PLUS another £4.97 as an admin fee to be allowed to check in. Given that checking in isn't optional this hidden fee should have been included in the £106 we paid for the night (as for literally every other hotel/guest house/ apartment we have ever stayed in. But the message said if we didn't pay it in time they would charge our card £25 each for non-payment. Shocking.
We complained about this, obviously, but the complaint was ignored for 48 hours and I was forced to pay the ransom demand. When I clicked on their automated link it told me the fee was now £5.97 PER PERSON but also that their payment system wasn't working and I had to contact the owners again.
Luckily this time they responded. Unfortunately they ignored my objections to be asked to pay extra to check in and told me that if only I had clicked on the "important information" link on Booking.com I would have discovered the compulsory additional charges. Sorry but if I have to click on additional links to discover the real cost of my apartment on top of the advertised price then those are "hidden charges".
Anyway after paying and being told our complaint was unreasonable and presumably worthy of being ignored for 2 days we were told we would receive key box codes to enter the apartment by 4pm. We did not.
I got back on booking.com and told them we had not received entry instructions. They told me they had sent them to me by Whatsapp. No such Whatsapp messages had arrived. They then sent them to me via booking.com messages. However the instructions they sent me were not correct. They directed me to a black building called "BoHo Breeze". It was actually a light blue building called "Skye Blue". I was asked to find a key safe on "the brown door".

The location
Everything They lied about everything. We had no tv, the curtain pole fell on my daughter's head, there was a cracked tile on the bathroom floor. Trying to contact them was a nightmare and when you did get through they lied about everything. It basically is a shit hole. The Coffee and tea facilities were out of date by 5 months.

Booking in procedure ridiculous system, all on what’s app, & no feedback, didn’t have passport with me, & didn’t accept my photo bus pass, then charged an £29 to confirm my booking, when finally got room, tv worked for 1hr only, toilet bowl filthy, & shower pathetic no hot water, reported this , again on watts app , without any feedback or no attempt to contact me or deal with the above issues ,
Pathetic hotel , don’t stay there & in a poor area
