Wonderful
Cosy overnight stay with a perfect room. Warm welcome after a late arrival. Everything was set out perfectly. Nice location near to the sea front. A good breakfast with plenty of options.

Great location, very comfortable bed. Super friendly staff. We stayed for one night whilst we went to a gig at the Brighton Dome.
The shower head needs a good clean.

Lovely host, Jana made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great - very central. Nice products in the bathroom and plenty of towls
The tea/coffee facilities in the room - we weren't sure where we could plug the kettle as the lead was so short. More choice of teas would be nice and some bottled water! Maybe a little more choice at breakfast?

Wonderful
This is such a gem of a place, it really is. If you are looking for a little slice of Kemptown/Brighton hospitality then this is it… the rooms are all individually styled and set in a period building, they work so nicely… all the important things - good bed, lovely bedding and nice hot shower and toiletries are there, but really, it’s the staff - female run hotel and it has a happy atmosphere of genuine camaraderie between the staff, it was a joy to watch them working seamlessly at breakfast and laughing with customers as much as with one another… such a nice way to start the day. They are full of recommendations and friendly “in the know” advice and recommendations. Nothing seems too much trouble and you just depart feeling that you’ve had a truly lovely break - what more could you ask for?
There’s really nothing much not to like… I will say that it being a period building, there isn’t a lift, so if you have mobility issues (as I do) then be aware there are stairs to climb… BUT the staff made sure I was on the lowest floor (so just 1 flight) and they carried my bags and couldn’t have been kinder. I walk with a crutch (sometimes two) so stairs can be nerve making, and if that is you too… just be aware, but they do advertise that fact and for me, just the little bit of extra kindness still made it manageable and not a big issue - most of the Kemptown area has the same issue… beautiful old buildings tend to equal stairs not lifts.
