The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.
The main reason we booked this hotel was because of the wellness spa facilities advertised on Booking.com. Unfortunately, after making our reservation, we discovered that the facilities were not as advertised, which was extremely disappointing, as the spa was a key factor in our decision to choose this hotel. As compensation, we were offered a supposedly upgraded room. However, having compared the photographs of the room we originally booked with those of the alternative room, there appeared to be very little difference. The only noticeable change was a partial side view of the beach, which was barely visible from the room. We therefore do not feel this represented a genuine upgrade or adequate compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment. Furthermore, the bathroom was noticeably outdated and would benefit from modernisation, particularly the installation of mixer taps. The hand basin was also extremely small and impractical. Overall, the hotel's facilities and accommodation did not reflect what was advertised on Booking.com. We feel that the description and photographs were misleading and that the experience fell short of what we reasonably expected when making our booking. We would therefore appreciate an appropriate level of compensation to reflect the difference between what was advertised and what was actually provided but we didn't get anything not even a discount on car park vouchers which cost £17 per night. Also, the hotel advertised on booking.com that they offer the following activities on site, which is not correct: Water sport facilities on site: Mini golf Bowling Cycling Canoeing Windsurfing

Lovely staff, very central location in Kemptown but on a quiet road, very good price.
As it's a converted townhouse, the floorboards and doors are quite noisy.

Friiendly and informative staff, comfy bed and great location
The bathroom was a bit dark but I think it was just missing a bulb change so more luck and I didn't hassle anyone to change it. The continental breakfast was a little limited but a fair reflection of the price

fantastic staff. Jana was excellent as were the other ladies. We actually had a great chat. I felt right at home. Very motivated to come back with family and spend a bit more time. Room was nice, clean and quiet.

The room and bathroom was big and all facilities very good. The bed was big and comfortable. The breakfast was very basic, but did the work. The staff was very welcoming and provided us with a lot of information on Brighton and things to do and see - and of course where to eat.
I forgot to check for an elevator when booking, so we had to carry our stuff up three floors - but that's on us.
