I liked how close it was to the pier made travel very easy once parked
Parking was not private you have to park on the road they offer a permit for 24hrs for £15 which was an unexpected charge as we thought we would get free private parking.
We originally booked the basement double bed which says private toilet but when we arrived we were told the basement had shared bathroom so got uncharged to the ensuite as me and my partner did not want to share a bathroom with others.

Very Good
The location is great, if you want to be close to the pier and waterfront. Also close to supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants in the area. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Quite old building, although kept clean and well maintained. Noise carries between rooms. No view to speak of. Basic amenities only. No refrigerator.

Disappointing
Staff were lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Bed linen and towels was pristine.
Mirrors were filthy. Window were filty. Pictures had marks on them. Lift was covered in hand and fingerprints. Bathroom was clean but where the radiator nozzle was too big, they cut a hole in the door instead of getting a smaller nozzle so this meant the door could open fully. The window had a piece stiff fabric to block light from the window. Window sealed shut although we found a fan the morming we left. Floors fell like it had an oily film on it. Very old lino. Kettle needed to be descaled as boiled water was cloudy and a little grey, although we rinsed it out. The shower head needs to be descaled.

Great value next to the beach and seaside centre. Basic but comfortable.
No towels. Probably an oversight. I didnt notice until the morning. Kettle smelt musty, Probably needs replacing.

Right infront of the beach and pier which was great location and was clean
So when we booked it was because they had a bar but when we got there it was closed for refurbishment and there was no communication to say this was closed as if there was proberly would of got a different hotel

Poor
Within walking distance of the Brighton dome
Very poor decor and old furnishings, rooms are not clean, very shabby, shower very weak, needed descaling, towel rail rusty, simply not clean enough

The guy on reception is very helpful.
The location is brilliant and excellent views.
The bar has been closed 6 months now, which is a shame.
The hotel is looking old and tired, and defo needs an update in decoration and furniture.
The cleaning was basic and would benefit from a detailed deeper clean.

I did not like nothing about the hotel
I didn't like the way electric air dryer electrocuted me and burnt my face, he says skips will be very quickly. The sport stays in the worst.
