I paid for single room with shared bath in 2nd floor but because of my major ankle and feet leg surgeries I was given a double room ensuite for the same price on the 1st floor .
The proprietors were a lovely couple and husband was a great chef so I has a lively English breakfast included
They had just bought that hotel and 2 other hotels and I wish them all the best

Norhing, on arrival the manager was fighting with a gent from next hotel
The room on offer was mouldy, asked to be move, saw 3 other room which were the same 1 had some of its plaster on the roof missing. The pictures are fake and the staff were useless. Diclibed to give a refund. Had to rebook another hotel to stay in

Good location and the bed was comfortable
The communication with staff was terrible. Ignored all emails. Asked numerous times for a late checkout as specified on booking all emails went ignored. At 10am exactly they were banging on our door. Pretended they did not know about the late checkout requests. Or if genuine then they are not doing their job and checking the emails. It asks for emails on booking so perhaps change this if you wont read them.
We had no toilet paper and had to ask for it. The room was not clean. It wasn't unusable but we did have to flush the toilet.

Great location, good price, the host's were so friendly, helpful and easy going which made everything so much better.
Perfect location literally 2min walk to coral island and 10mins to all the bars and clubs. Extremely convenient.

I liked the photos on Booking.com.com
It's a shame they look nothing remotely like the hotel.
The place was filthy. The uploaded pics ive posted was what we were greeted to on arrival.
They tried to decline my refund, insisting they would collect the full cancellation fee (I refused to stay, such was the mess of the place!) until i informed the owner, id personally be around in the morning if one penny left my account. They put through the cancellation eventually from their side. Thats the only positive id give them, but only after I went through Booking.com with no joy!
Ive no idea STILL why people can even say this place is decent. Reviews on Google are the best place for proper info, as the ones on Booking.com must have been done by family and friends!!
But yes, stay here at your own risk. Im not a five star luxury kind of person, especially on a lads weekend away, but this place wouldnt get a full 1 Star. All I look for is that its clean, has a comfy bed, and a shower in the morning. Sadly none of this was available at Wilson Hotel

Position was great right by the Tower.
I'm afraid the inside looks nothing like the photos. The breakfast room was a very odd set up as it was full of prams and washing. As if someone's house? Breakfast was plentiful but stone cold. Plus we had to precisely order the night before, listing each item. Even the cereal option was odd as no fruit juice available and milk was served in the plastic container and the toast was also cold.
The owner was friendly and trying to train his two staff members but I'm afraid it just fell very short of what I expected from a B and B.

What it said on website there was nothing to write home about. No hot water, no heating apart from a plug in radiator and plug was not secure, no TV in room and no breakfast.
It was like a prison cell. Only stayed one night.
