Pool jacuzzi was not in use at the time of our stay.
Bar and grill was also closed so only one restaurant open.
Lift was also out of order.
Breakfast is pricey at £12.50 per person with no lower cost for children. £50 for 4 people was too expensive.

Breakfast was great and kids eating free was a great touch.
First time travelling on own with kids was easy and kids and it was all made so easy and straight forward .

Clean rooms, comfy bed enjoyed the swimming. The staff we interacted with were very friendly! It was a really good base, especially for the Zoo. I would recommend staying.
We asked a question at reception and got one answer, then , when we went back to confirm , we were told something different which was inconvenient. Id also tried to ask two questions via email ahead of arrival, both went unanswered.

Love the village Hotel, very friendly staff, comfortable spacious rooms and use of the swimming pool for a small fee is excellent

Wonderful
I had a great room overlooking the golf course. Nice bed and great shower. The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely. Staff everywhere were very nice and friendly. Lots of easy parking on site.
The price of drinks was extortionate. A pint of beer and 2 glasses of wine £35.
Having to pay for parking is always a niggle for me at hotels.
These were my only 2 faults.
