The swimming pool , although I wasnt aware of the restriction times for the kids .this was the only reason I chose this hotel
Self check in , having to produce my own door key , , no staff interaction/ welcome , not knowing where anything was , even the lift to our room
Didn't like how small the family room was , or how it was above the entrance with all the noise .nor did I like how a family of four were expected to use 3 hangers
I didnt like the restrictions for the pool for children
After I arrived home I noticed I'd been over charged by £180. It took me 3 phone calls , 5 days later for me to speak to someone and they said I was being refunded ...no explanation why , no apology ...awful customer service

The staff were friendly, I had amazing stay, gym house was well equipped, swimming pool was very neat. Breakfast was amazing location is very good. I will definitely come back for another visit.

A lovely and warm welcome from Emily on reception. Pool and gym facilities were excellent and the hotel is in a really nice location.Comfy beds and decent shower pressure.
Grounds were clean and well kept.
Staff in the restaurant and gym were pleasant.
Room was very basic - no tissues, glasses for drinks or biscuits in the tea tray and it was hot, even though it was under 20 degrees outside.
Strong smell of cannabis on our floor which was reported to the night staff who did not seem to care.
Breakfast very average, glad it was included in the rate otherwise I wouldn't recommend.
Parking is £10 per night, use of pool and gym facilities is £5 per room per day. These additional fees need to be made clearer by booking.com

Flood in kitchen stopped food being served, but staff sorted complementary drinks and taxis and allowed food to be brought in to eat, good response to unusual circumstances.

The appearance of the hotel.
Bar prices worthy of a mortgage.
There is no aircon in the room. Window open, 2 portable fans, and still had to sleep naked on top of the bed.
Getting drinks against my room number was straightforward at one bar. The next bar said they were not allowed.

Great location with good facilities near family
I specifically asked for a room request on booking pre arrival for a room facing the golf course. As I am a returning customer. I paid extra for a club room .
It seems that no one takes any notice. I was given a room with the view of a roof. Yes it was changed by a senior member of staff. This is not the point . This is very poor customer service especially when I was asked at check in if I had stayed at this hotel before. Therefore the staff member knew I was a returning customer . This has happened before. There needs to be staff training in this area I feel ☹️

The hotel is in a great location. The pool and facilities are great for families.
The food in the belter skelter restaurant was terrible, my curry was in eatable. Huge mirror in room but no plug socket near it to do your hair, and I know it can’t be helped and there was a fan provided but the room was unbearably hot.
