The location was great staff was lovely food was lush
The room we stay in there was no plug socket near bed as my husband sleeps with a sleep apnea manche plus we didn't sleep well the nosie from the piging and I think the room could of been a bit cleaner dust on top of the wardrobe the drawers was broken. Bird poo on windows.

The location was great, right at the sea front.
Loved that they had their own parking.
The breakfast was delicious. With lots of choice and it was very fresh, staff were constantly bringing freshly cooked stuff out and replenishing it.
The room decor and furniture was a little dated.
We could hear the people in the room above us having a shower. The pipe work/drainage is very noisy. Thankfully they weren't in the shower long, so it didn't disturb us for very long. Our toilet was also very noisy. Could just be an old building.
The T.V was a little small.

Layout of the hotel, was very easy to get lost. Infact we came across a few older residents staying at the hotel who were also lost. The signing for direction of where you are located in the hotel to where to want to go was very very poor. This provokes anxiety and frustration, making the customer experience very poor and not relaxing at all.
The cleanliness was poor and visible dust on skirting boards, bath was not cleaned, carpets were stained and not hovered well, missed at sections near the skirting board, a clear build up of dust was evident.
The evening meal ( gammon steak) was inedible, it was over cooked and dry, and solid. This was served with potato wedges that were too dry to eat. My husband had steak pie this was served with dry overheated wedges also. The steak pie was better than the gammon steak at least.
The lift was too small and had a unpleasant smell.
The entertainment venue in my opinion was too dark, as the clientele appeared to be mainly older adults, the design was night club style. Older clients struggled to see where to go due to poor lighten.
The internal painted grey doors were badly chipped and this was a these throughout. Made the interior look very shabby and dirty.

The table allocated was at the car end of the dinning room and a long way from the food station carrying hot food was dangerous to yourself and other dinners
