The staff were lovely and were very helpful and welcoming.
The breakfast and evening buffet with main course service had a wide choice available.
The food was good .
The restaurant was clean and service was on point in the restaurant, bars and reception.
The cabaret lounge was excellent, we haven't laughed so much in ages , thoroughly enjoyed it.
The lift from the cabaret lounge to our floor had a terrible smell of drains.
Our dark grey bathroom floor area surrounding the toilet had not been cleaned properly, I only discovered this when I placed the bath mat on the floor and it started to stain brown
. Luckily I had vinyl gloves in my make up bag and I cleaned it using toilet roll and water. I would suggest it requires giving housekeeping time to do a deep clean at some point.The bathroom door didn't have a lock on it and wouldn't stay closed.
The walls in the bedroom were scuff marked in places and in need of decoration as were the hotel bedroom corridors. Such a shame as so much about this hotel is right.

The bed is too small. Rooms outdated, but staff coughing and sneezing around food serving area. Staff should have gloves on.

The hotel was very Cosy. Many of the staff appeared very happy and helpful within their job. The food wasn't too bad either.
I didn't like all the stairs they didn't help my arthritis because it's like a maze.
I wasn't very keen on the shower as it didn't get very hot, plus you could not change it's position.
The other thing I was not keen is the waitresses in the restrurants as they never done the job with a smile. They would also walk around and take plates etc if they think they're finished with.
