The manager Lisa and partner were lovely and helpful with things to do in the area. The Bar was an added bonus was nice to meet and have a drink before going out. We was informed that the hotel is a work in progress and when these are complete stays here will be perfect.
The bed was uncomfortable could feel every spring and mattress was stained underneath. The room needed updating but we was told this is all a work in progress.

The room was bigger that I anticipated which was a lpeasant surprise as I could actually swing a cat round, I didn't but could have. The shower was good and had sufficient power ro feel invigerated. I was nice to have a single room of the first floor instead of at the top of the building. The room was clean and in a good condition. The staff were very nice and polite and helpfull. I asked if I could have a chair in my room which was provided within 5 minutes and with a smile. If you wand posh this is not the place for you but if you want pleasant and confortable I recommend it.
Nothing, but a shame there wasn't food or some sort of vending machine.

Great value hotel and the staff could not be nicer. They were very accommodating about check in when I was held up at an event in the Winter Gardens. Very close to the Winter Gardens and excellent value. Room was nice and clean.
It was a little cramped in the room and the bed on the soft side but that was to be expected for the price. The walls are quite thin so we could hear next door's TV, but it didn't bother us too much. You could also hear everything on the street, but again this didn't bother us.

Great location. Staff were lovely and friendly, upgraded us for free to a room with a bunk bed when hearing my son would be excited to stay in one. Shower was nice and hot. Beds were comfy, room had lots of space. Tea and coffee in the room.
No remote for Tv in the room, not an issue for us as we literally just sleeping and showering there.
I would maybe suggest different curtains or black out blinds in the room, my son was awake for the day at 5.30 as the white curtains let all the light in.

A very poor quality hotel with small rooms and terrible mattresses, I slept badly and was up at 6am to get out of it. Ther was about 60 stairs to get to my room. Bar closes at 9pm , staff knowledge of local area was zero. Not for the faint hearted.

The lady who greeted us was very friendly. Was good value for money. It was comfortable enough for one night. Pristine white linen.
To be REALLY picky the home fragrance reed diffusers, they really set my asthma off, as a result struggled to breathe initially.

Friendly staff, close to everything we needed and the room was fine.
£2 to play a game of pool but the staff member did say it belongs to someone else.
