Having to step over a Junkie, Spiced out (that’s not a typo!!) on the landing, to access my very basic room !!! It’s £30 a night, So expectations were not great

Good location near the centre near the winter gardens but off the main streets so nice a quiet even on a weekend. You get what you pay for this was a nice cheap room it was clean and you had a bathroon with shower just what I wanted and needed nothing fancy just a place to stay.

Really pour and couldn’t stay there. Holes in walls in bedroom. Windows in bedroom disgusting n could not see out them. Chap said 2 star. I wouldn’t even give this property a 1 star. Had a cheek to ask us for £20 deposit for door key. Our opinion avoid at all cost. If nothing else gave us a good giggle when showing family videos of both rooms.

Terrible no heating or hot water. Stag do’s while claiming family hotel. No wifi. Fire alarms going off all hours. Food all over the floors. Dirty but get what you pay for but draw the line at no heating in winter

Absolutely disgraceful service. We woke up on the morning of our stay to a message saying they couldn’t honour our booking. So not only did they cancel last minute, they left us scrambling for somewhere to stay with zero proper notice.
They told us to cancel via Booking.com and promised they’d process a refund. Spoiler alert: they didn’t. No refund. No answers. No returned calls. Messages ignored. Completely unprofessional and utterly unreliable.
If it wasn’t for Booking.com stepping in and sorting the refund, we’d still be waiting. I understand that mistakes happen, but failing to honour a booking, then withholding a refund and ignoring your customers? That’s inexcusable.
Avoid at all costs.

NOTHING
EVERYTHING. The place stank of cigarette smoke, our corridor smelt like marijuana and cigarettes then opened room door and smelt like cigarettes too. The fire alarm went off for a significant period at 3am. The people next door were banging on their own door shouting to each other at 8am. All clothes and everything taken needed to be washed to rid the smell of smoke. Absolutely horrible
