The hosts were both amazing. Had a great welcome and the guy knew who I was when I arrived and where I was from.
I thought it was very thoughtful that they knew I was Muslim and gave me falafel, hummus, tortilla and salad for my breakfast starter on the first day. I only ate that and mentioned not to get the normal breakfast out as the falafel would fill me up.
I didn't really like that they googled my name to see if I was male or female by looking at my Instagram, luckily for me my socials are all private. Nice touch to be personal but it made me feel weird being looked up by a stranger.
The second day I did not want falafel again for Breakfast and just wanted fried bread, beans, egg and hashbrown but the falafel was bought out for me again so I ate it as I didnt want to waste it and not tell them I just wanted the normal breakfast. Maybe they gave that because they cook the non halal meat using same oil and pans with other things. If thats the reason for the falafel then I appreciate it.
The window in room 10 let a little drift in the room from when the wind kept blowing even though it was closed.

This was one of our best hotel stays of all time, simply because of the way the owners Simon and Rhona made us our whole stay there feel totally welcome. Don't expect a modern house, because it is not, it is well over 118 years old but that just does not matter even a bit. It was perfectly clean, the beds were more than comfortable, the whole style of the rooms and facilities gave a very cozy living room vibe and the owners will more than take their time to connect to their guests. Directly from the beginning we felt 100 % totally welcome. The breakfast is about the best you can get in all of United Kingdom, the hotel is just a 3 minute walk to the tram Station (and the beach) and it is, compared to other destinations, an absolute bargain. Words can't describe our joy from our days we had there. We will definitely come again.
Nothing. It was a perfect 10/10. The only downer was that we had to leave again.

Very Good
It was pretty quiet at night which was good. But does depend if you have quiet neighbours. Breakfast was good. I did find the sausage and hash brown a tad too oily for my personal liking. Good location with easy parking.
I was a bit cold, there was a heater but I had to ask my mum who lives nearby for a hot water bottle. Pillows a little lumpy.

Wonderful
Lovely family run hotel. Really welcoming and took the time to explain about the hotel, the area, what was on over the weekend. Made us feel right at home. The room though small had everything we needed for our stay (we booked the smaller room so knew it would be smaller) however huge bathroom with a bath and shower which was fantastic for us. The breakfast was the best we have had in Blackpool - the choice was exceptional and definitely more than enough for us. Cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, pastries and that was before the cooked breakfast - exceptional value for money. An added bonus was free parking outside the hotel for the whole stay - really unusual to find this in Blackpool. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
It is not a case of what we didn’t like however the room was a little too small for us and was very warm even with the fan provided being used. We would book a larger room at our next stay. This definitely does not detract from all the positives of this lovely family run property.

Very nice little touches in the room, bottles of water tea / coffee etc. Smart TV in the room. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was extremely comfy too! Very close approx 2min walk to nearest tram stop and local corner shops literally one minute walk.
