The place was a great place to stay and the host's and food were first class.
The only thing we found from our room was the toilet seat I had to hold up to wee other than that the room was comfortable and adequate for our needs thank you guilderoy for a pleasant holiday.

The hotel was a little dated but is over 100 years old. The place is very clean apart from wear on the carpets through foot traffic. Not a spec of dust in our room. Budget double, plenty room, clean comfy bed large tv. Large bathroom with shower over bath. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

Breakfast was tasty and there was a great choice.
A nice warm welcome when we arrived.

Excellent stay at a nice,clean hotel…The host was very nice would stay again.
With me being quite a large chap the bathroom was very small and difficult to get around.

My wife and I have visited the New Guilderoy Hotel 23-25.August 2025. I can't stress enough what a wonderful the attention to detail to make our stay comfortable was exceptional.Simon and Rhona are the most attentive, pleasant, polite, and the hardest working people I have ever met.The customer service, food and general comfort was amazing.the customer service, food and general comfort was amazing.I would recommend this hotel.

Rhona and Simon have to be the best hosts. Genuinely welcoming. Remember everyone's name. Many of the guests are repeat visitors.
The breakfast was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble.
I have gf and additive issues which were instantly addressed, I so appreciated that.
Parking is difficult to find nearby
Sadly for us, the hotel is a bit tired
