Breakfast was nice could have had more say if you didn't want something replace it with something else but good selection good variety at the bar
Could have had housekeeping same bedding all week had to ask for more toilet rolls and tea and coffee behind the bar

Great staff. In particular Luca who was very helpful and knowledgeable in regard to my friend who is glutton free. Luca was able to recommended places to eat. S very pleasant young man a credit to the hotel.
As we were attending a 4 day event at the Winter Gardens and coming back between 11pm/1am. Being 2 ladies in our 60/70s we thought it was a little too far away .

cheap and cheerful
24 of us, some were told they had to enter their registration on a tablet for their vehicles to use the car park which is at the sister hotel the Beechfield. Others were not informed, paid the parking fee (which is £10 per night but one guest was charged £12?). Those that didn't register but paid £20 for the two night stay have subsequently been fined£100 per night for not registering despite having a hand written receipt off the Reception Staff. Surely the hotel could ensure the info was input onto their system. Seems like a bit of a scam. The reception employee (who was also acting as the barman) was under pressure having to check 24 people in at the same time, the Hotel should have provided assistance given the number of people in our party. Despite me send the room list visa Booking.com the Hotel had no idea who was staying there. It ended up with us being allocated different rooms to those we had booked, a farce.
I rang the Hotel to have the parking fines cancelled, the Manageress Julie refused to get involved with the Car Park company who issued the fines, I know she has the authority to quash these fines but she wouldn't get involved and said we would have to appeal, completely uninterested and she said she had watched the CCTV and told us all she could see were people "waving their arms around" This is complete harry horrocks, we are a mature group of 24 male golfers, some were told about having to register some were not. We are not paying the fines and will go to court if necessary. We knew the hotel was cheap and cheerful but the parking issue completely ruined our experience.

Excellent central location, hotel was clean staff very helpful.
It could do with updating the decor and furnishings. There are holes in the carpet in the seating area. Rooms clean but really need updating - especially the en-suites as the shower trays look past their best and the bathroom door didn’t shut properly.

My family always stays at the Lawton when we're in Blackpool. The location is great, short walk to the beech front. The hotel is well kept and the staff are hard working, always happy to help and are friendly!!..
