The staff was lovely
When got there, room was unclean dirty tissue on side shower dirty and loads of screws on the bed from a broken window l.
To then be kept up with people from the next room arguing all night banging doors till 6 clock in morning

We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable enough for a budget weekend stay. We certainly would not hesitate to book here again.

I wanted a clean and convenient room, it met my expectation.
There was a slight issue with the hot water, prompt fix by the hosts.
Plug in heater provided to make the room cosy around the heating schedule.
Unlimited tea, milk & sugar to take to the room.
Bed quality is each to their own preferences.
I found the bed comfy.
I would like to say I was happy with everything.
I found that there is nowhere to hang outside coats.
May I recommend an over door hanger :-)

The location at the top of Albert Road was very quiet even on a Saturday night, and made a welcome break from all the madness down the road. My room had a double bed even though I booked a single and was comfortable and quite cosy. The man who runs the place was very nice and helpful. The wifi was good.
The whole place badly needs redecorating, but I don't care that much about cosmetic details. The central heating had been switched off because the building is not in full use out of season, but he gave me a plug-in heater that was quite adequate. The only real problem was that the timer on the hot water was wrong, so there was lots of hot water when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night but I had to have a cold shower in the morning. I would stay here again, but would remember to have my shower in the evening.
