Excellent location, very good value for money. Staff really friendly abd helpful too.
The hotel is being refurbished, so all main areas, dining room and reception looked new. We were upgraded on check-in to a refurbished bedroom.
However the corridors and lift to the rooms on our floor (not sure about other floors), looked at bit tired.

I could not fault this hotel.
The staff, the room, meals and entertainment were excellent.
Only one issue in the bedroom 52 the window didn't close. It was a very windy night, so the whistling sound came through.

The food was fantastic and the staff friendly.
The room was very cosy
There is a dispute regarding my deposit for the room.
The money was taken out on the day (from my bank and have the receipt) but it disappeared from my bank then 2 days after i have had notification that its being taken out and there is no trace of the £100 but they are trying to take it out

The lighting in the bedroom was awful! Really bright white so it felt like we were sitting in a hospital or something. I have no idea who thought these lights were a good idea but they really aren't. Please change them for warm bulbs rather than bright white clinical ones. It didn't make the room comfortable or welcoming at all.

Loved everything about the Doric Hotel. Everything under one roof, entertainment, bingo, 2 relaxing pools and a hot tub. Child friendly. Right opposite the beach. Very comfortable bed, lovely room. Cleanliness was great. Delicious food, amazing staff.
