The property was closed so why put in on booking.com and it was 157 and they cancelled on day arrival and put us in cheaper hotel but did not receive rerun disgusting
Nothing as it was closed and cancelled before we arrived and we payed 157 and got put in a dump for 2 nights and it was only 80 pound for 2 night never got refund joke disgusting

Twice I have been here now with my little girls ... we love it. The location is amazing , prices are great, staff are friendly (especially the bar girls ❤️) and the rooms are spacious and cleanly

I didn’t like anything to be honest no water shower didnt work and the room they charged 70 pounds etc and the room was tatty and people arguing fighting other rooms even police were called at the hotel

Rooms very nice and clean, location was great
Only thing I'd say is the communication, decided to add extra day and when requested a change on the app no one got back to us, which meant we waited, rang several times no answer and then the price went up, so should have booked straight away, just thought it would be easier through them, also asked about carpark got answer straight away that some spaces are temporarily available, but to call prior arrival to confirm whether we can park there or not, but no one answering

Absolutely nothing smelly disgusting place to stay waste money checked in checked out same day was that bad even my little boy crying because room was so smelly windows filthy unclean my skin was itchy felt uncomfortable horrible experience worste I’ve had never again comw back needs closing down please be wise to book here needs closing down

When I got to the hotel the hotel was shut down. They had actually moved me to a different hotel. It cost me £10 to actually get to that hotel. They only informed me at 11:15 when I arrived at the hotel that was closed I couldn’t get in to leave my cases there some kind of man let me in with a key Then I got the call saying that my cases were locked in the hotel and I had to wait for someone to come and unlock the door to get the cases out to move to the other hotel. I’m very disappointed and would like to complain and get a refund regarding this

Rooms are lovely and so are the staff ..
However I’ve stayed here a couple of times and this time they had no water, so they asked if we wanted transferred to another hotel or refund .
I preferred the refund it’s been a week and still nothing when they said it would take 2 days .. when trying to call or message I’ve heard nothing back .. apart from that it’s a nice place ..

Location for us was perfect as we was having a casino night over road.

Shower was a drizzle, no pressure.
Daughter lost her earing, moved the bed a little to check, sugary sweets, wrappers & dirty under the bed.
The receptionist inspector was a verry nice friendly lady but was clearly over worked & under duress. Other silent “coworkers” present but not working or helping, seemed to just be hanging around. The one lady had to do everything & was running around trying but too much. So when checking out we had to queue with others checking out, whilst the lady ran upstairs to room inspect back & forth. Took about 30 mins to get checked out, waiting for our £60 cash deposit. Then refused to return our deposit, because upon entry to the room a mirror fell off the wall near the entrance & broke.
The mirror. When we entered the room, it fell & smashed. We immediately went down & reported it. The nice lady came up & picked up the mirror & was apologetic. I asked for a vacuum to get the little pieces of broken mirror, the lady said they do not have a vacuum. I said the cleaner must have a vacuum & was advised it is locked away with no access. We had to put a towel on the floor in the area the mirror fell to reduce the chance of foot injuries. The mirror appeared like it was loosely hung on the wall, almost like a trap to claim the deposit. Plain mirror, a quick internet search I shared with the receptionist shown there were several options for £8-£12 from local stores. We offered to collect a mirror & hang it but they would not support & insisted on not returning the deposit.
On arrival my daughter & partner urgently needed to use a toilet. Told the only toilet is in the bar area, which was closed & not accessible.
Rough night sleep, lots of noise & arguing in the surrounding rooms.
Receptionist would not (could not!) let me speak to the owner who she called about the deposit / mirror. She seemed genuinely unhappy with the situation & apologetic but seemed to have been given clear instructions. I established from movements of other “staff” one appeared to be influential, I asked if he was the boss he replied “sometimes”. Had a chat with this man who seemed okay but unhelpful & insisted they need the deposit because they spend hours looking at CCTV footage to see what happened to the mirror “your wife must’ve knocked it when she went in the room because when she steps in the room she backed off & put her h& to her mouth in shock” or words to that effect. He also blocked the exit from the carpark with his black Merecedes MVP. I was respectful & family orientated but sensed these guys thought I may go street on them – I didn’t!
Room no’s are laminated paper with ink written numbers on them, attached with sticky tac. Apparent the business is struggling or just having the money skimmed from it. Hence the lack of maintenance & desire to take peoples cash deposits.
