Facilities were amazing fantastic breakfast and use of the dining room for local take away food. Lovely staff who were quick to assist in any need during the staff. It was a complete diamond in a busy street.

breakfast was the only good thing about this b&b,
only that you had to wait for someone to finish to have yours and had to ask to get refills all time
he did try just to much for one parson
The rooms outdated not clean at all we only saw one member of staff all time we was there.

Absolutely lovely stay at The Aberford! I originally booked just for myself, but my husband ended up joining and the staff were amazing, quickly sorting everything out for us at a better price than Booking.com. Cozy, welcoming, and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

This is such a lovely property , stands out from the rest available …very close to all our planned trips around the town and a great welcome from the owner and family who were so polite and helpful throughout …anything we needed they were more than happy to accommodate and went out of their way on occasion to do more for us. Really pleasant rooms very comfy beds and loved the breakfasts !! We will definitely be coming back soon

Comfortable room. Greta breakfast - Full English.
Excellent location. There is a parking nearby for cars if the streets become full.
Flush makes lot of noise - this carries over from flushes of adjoining rooms.

Excellent service. Family friendly - Manager was very hospitable. Very clean room, comfy bed.
Cant go wrong, will definately come again.
Breakfast was complimentary but still some people moaning about having brown sugar instead white. Petty stuff undermining the effort of the hotel staff.

This accommodation is no longer run by Neil & Deborah Winkley. It is now in a poor state for accommodating people. Photos need updating as it's not a true reflection of the establishment. Noisey pipework all night & springs more out of mattress than in.

There really was not anything to like.
Booking. Com should make them update there photos as trust me it does not look like any of them. Very tired and worn. It is in dire need of a refurbishment. Staff were unpleasant. The only good thing was the location.
I shall think twice before booking with booking.com again & I use them frequently.
