The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. They couldn't do enough for us.

The location is very central with a tramp stop opposite, the staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond to help you anyway they can, the owners are very friendly and make an effort to interact with children, rooms are basics but well kept and clean with lovely fresh bedding, been here twice now and already booked in for next year, also has parking which is a bonus ?

Sam was very pleasant when we arrived, allowed us to check in early, and even brought us a heater. which we did not need.
there was not hot water on the Saturday or the Monday. the only day there was hot water on the Sunday. we complained about the lack of water, and after an hours or so there was hot water, we were told that the boiler was faulty. I in fact believe they did not turn the boiler on, because there were more people staying Saturday night there was hot water for Sunday morning. Monday morning there was no hot water again, I believe they switch the boiler off again. I asked about breakfast and was told "we are not doing breakfast Saturday " but will let you know if they will do it Sunday, they did not let us know. we also asked about the bar, and when it would be open, and was told we don't know. I have stayed at a number of B&B but if I am honest this was the worst

Close to all attractions staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Not much choice on beers as had no draught. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room.
TV in the room did not work unable to watch not good when you want to relax after being out.
The bathroom is very small for a family room toilet lid that would not stay up and falls onto your back and has to hold it every time kids need the toilet.vent in bathroom needs cleaning.to turn on the light in the bathroom the switch was above the door no way can kids reach it . Would been nice if there was a bedside lamp in the room.
