The bed was comfortable
There was a brown smudge on the back of the bathroom door and the door trim. Thank goodness we carry lysol wipes. 2 dirty coffee mugs beside the kettle trying to look clean...
It was a place to lay our head and that's it.
I mentioned it to the front desk at checkout and they were not bothered. Just said they would let the cleaning staff know...

New refurbished room which was spacious and clean.
Bathroom had large shower.
Bed was fresh clean and comfortably soft.
Breakfast was expectional service as shown to are table provided information or where to get cereals and juices from. Cooked breakfast was just right not too small or too big and tasted great.
Would happily return
Only thing that was problem was upon arriving at hotel car park was a mini bus blocking access to be able to park car and had to wait quite longtime for them to move and I was stopped on double yellow lines.
Is no fault of the hotel and will become less of problem in future as scaffolding around hotel to make improvements will be gone and more space will be available.

The staff were very pleasant and it's in a great location. The rooms were kept very clean.
The rooms were very outdated and looked nothing like the pictures advertised on the booking website. The carpets were stained and thread bare. There were private functions, which meant the bar was unavailable to us on a Saturday afternoon. The front of the hotel was covered in scaffolding, which took up a lot of the car parking spaces.

Made us feel so happy didnt want to leave.manager Phil went above and beyond could do enough for us,manager Greg was a ball made us feel so welcome and restaurant manageress Hayley was amazing. Can't wait to return,thank you so very much.

Gregg the functions manager was fantastic if it wasnt for him changing our room we would have left the hotel
The room we were given was awful, very dated and unclean, staff on reception just sat and shrugged their shoulders so unprofessional

That it was cheap
It needs a good clean. The taps were grimy, the toilet didn't work although they did it immediately. The cold tap in the bath didnt work but again they did it immediately. The carpets were not up to standard and there was dirty paint everywhere. The doors bang until everyone is in bed. All in all it was ok but I won't be staying again. And its too far out of town when there's no buses running.

Good sea view from the top floor
Bed was comfy
Even though there are lifts, there are still a lot of stairs to go up and down to find your room.
No clear signs from the lift area which way to go to find your room. Came across two other families looking for their rooms on the 3rd floor.
We had a refurbished room but disappointed that there was still a shower over the bath, and not a walk in type shower.
The availability of parking is not great.
Food is average quality.

The entertainment was good and the view
Not getting a refurbished room when i said it was a special occasion for my 83 year old mum , and getting 100 taken of me and still not received it back hours after checking out , and also being woken up by hooligans upstairs fighting

Disappointing
Was put in an old style room for 178 which was a shambles asked to go into a diffrent room which they changed us but hss to wait, I asked for someone to change my daughter bum and basically was told to to use the floor in the bathroom, nearly broke my toe on the wardrobe in bedroom as not sign posted to watch step, whole experience from start to finish was a disappointment and I will not be returning
