Hotel is right on the front and room was spacious and clean.
Stair carpets are past their best. I only booked for one night but no hot water when I went to shower in the morning. The staff did say they’d sent someone up but I didn’t have time to wait before checking out so no washing facility. Another woman downstairs said she’d had the same issue for a few days. Bed wasn’t very comfortable

There was parking available however this does cost £10 per night, staff were friendly and the bathroom was nice.
Breakfast was nice also.
Walking into the room it looked nothing like the pictures online, there was wallpaper falling off the walls due to damp, water stains on the ceiling, the room was freezing as the radiator was turned off, thick layers of dust on the frame on the back of the door, tv, cabinets etc just generally unclean and tired. If we were staying for more than one night I would’ve complained but it was just a bed to sleep in and we didn’t spend any time in the room.

Have loved the location for over 40 years, it has the charm of an old hotel, but bedroom was modern and fresh, and loved that there was a walk in shower

The staff were amazing,and the hotel itself was lovely.
The room was very poor,floor boards were creaking everywhere you walked,the bathroom didn't have a shower only a plastic bath,the toilet was so close to the wall you couldn't sit on it tidy.
