We had no heating and as we were the only guests we didn't get our cooked breakfast ... It would have been better to let us know we were the only guests as we would have booked elsewhere

This is a great family run Blackpool hotel., right on the beach front.
Location : This is great for access to the pleasure beach. There is a tram stop and a railway station close by. The promenade is across the road..
Facilities - this is our fifth visit and we have stayed in a number of rooms. All of them have been clean., have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries and decent towels (hand and bath). there is a small seating area at the front for watching the world go by.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I was even offered a lift when it was pouring with rain.
Thank you for a warm welcome; we will be back.

Blackpool is like Miami Beach fifty years ago - an everyman's beach resort. Ocean Bay is a grand example of that kind of old school hotel. A little bit "nanny", with the regular intimidations about smoking, or even eating, in one's room. For Your Own Good. But they're up front and honest about it, and probably seldom need to enforce. Otherwise, the rooms are clean, and there is only a tiny amount of black mold in the shower, the staff/owners are personable and have genuine concern for guests. Vastly preferable to an indifferent chain hotel. The location is excellent, near to the beach And Pleasure Beach. As good as Blackpool gets.
The hotel is likely at least 100 years old, and it shows. Dated Blackpool tackiness; (plastic plants and decorations, bunk beds, steep stairs, a cold breakfast; you get the jist.

Comfortable beds, clean room. Friendly and inviting. Had an issue with booking.com which was quickly resolved by the host. Would definitely stay again. Quieter location with tram stops outside. Walking distance to pleasure beach 10mins.

Loved the continental breakfast selection.
Really good considering I have 2 very picky children.
Wish we could of had a hot breakfast option as judging by the effort in the continental selection, the hot breakfast items would have been just as fantastic and a welcome option given the Blackpool weather at times.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived rooms very clean breakfast was lovely and the staff at the hotel itself and next door adleigh house were amazing couldn’t be more helpful. I will be returning at some point this year.

The BnB was in a really good location minutes from the park, lovely and clean and the lady who checked us in was really lovely, beautiful selection of continental breakfast, clean white sheets and towels, handy toiletries, parking right outside and we got to meet the owners beautiful dog
