Very Good
Sea view, entertainment, comfort all good
Bed was awful , falling towards each other as mattress sagged - parking was difficult as venue was so busy

Poor
The room was filthy, the wall light didn't work, the curtains wouldn't shut, other guest shouting and carrying on 12am till 5am
And chewing gum stuck to the kettle

Poor
A little expensive for a sub par buffet style breakfast.
Not entirely sure why the hotel is charging me for parking when I booked a room with them. Surely that should be included. The room was also dingy and gross and the bed was beyond uncomfortable it looked like a table they found in a back alley.

While the conservatory is being revamped the entertainment is in the ballroom. You could actually find a seat. Entertainment good. Bingo good. Really had a couple of days relaxing. Oh and don't forget spindles, the swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The prices of alcohol 3 double southern comfort and coke. 25 quid. Spent a crazy amount at the bar. Will not be coming again for that reason. Shame really as was a regular

Location
The rooms and cleanliness is very poor. Radiator wasn’t working the rooms were smelly. Walls and ceiling looked like have not been touched for decades.

Everything
Very dirty hotel and More like a building site
Medication(tablet) found in my room by my infant child was changed rooms but no improvement as I noticed a used swimming costume sticking out from the chest of drawers which was obviously left by a previous guest
I would give 5 stars for the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

great location, food really nice especially evening meals, friendly staff room was clean.
We stayed in 'Penthouse' very dull and outdated. size was really good and was very clean. No Heating just small portable electric radiators that were not fit for purpose. Definitely needs a total refresh

Jeri and Bev on reception were sooo nice and helpful! I am disabled partially sighted and they were great! Food good. Lovely attentive dining room staff. Beautiful building and spa was excellent.
Bit far from everywhere if you have no transport. But frequent trams just outside hotel.

Good
The swimming pool was heated and quite large the hot tub was hot and the steam room and sauna was free to use after paying, we paid £5 for two adults and a child.
We were put into an adjoining room with a door that was being used by a couple with a new born baby that was crying a lot, I made the reception staff aware and they changed our room immediately without hesitation, the staff were very friendly
The hotel is struggling in a lot of places with mould and damp it's an extremely large hotel and the upkeep will be fanamanol, if this hotel had more guests staying instead of slateing this beautiful old hotel it would be able to afford to keep it updated ie decorate and fix, it was sad to see alot of the hotel in ruins with collapsing ceilings and damp with function rooms closed down

Pleasant
Clean and just out enough out of the way while not too far away.
Room was extremely small to the point you could not full open the main door as the bed got in the way.
Couldn't use the TV as there was nowhere to plug it in. Room was very run down and in desperate need of an update.
