The hotel staff was so accommodating and lovely to talk to she was so caring and attentive. We love our hotel room the bed was so cozy and warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great lots to choose from .
It wasn’t a deal breaker I know it not London, but I’m used to hotels giving little bottles of shampoo and hair wash and some cheap slippers but it didn’t bother me in the slightest if I’d know I would of brought my own body wash etc but it was my own fault for expecting it lol.

lovely room but a bit noisy in the morning from other guests above. Breakfast choice was superb.
Radiators needed bleeding but other electric fire was good.

Loved the staff and owner. Would come back for the hospitality alone. Nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was amazing. Laura was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were clean and comfortable. We slept well. Shower had good pressure. Didnt have time to use the spa but it looked great. Loved the bar and the craic. Wifi great signal and location handy. Julius and breakfast staff also faultless.
Windows in room did not close properly so the room was freezing when it was very windy. The toilet seat lid fell down when being used. Shower in bedroom not suitable for twin room for privacy depending on who travelling with. No full length mirror and lamp beside mirror didnt work. No wardrobe so used hangers from the robes for dresses.

Its location is excellent
It is not a hotel but a B&B in all honesty, the decor was a little hit and miss within our room, with single sheets of wallpaper and also haphazard carpet on the wall ? Also WiFi signal was woeful and so couldn’t use the TV/Netflix facilities.

We have now stayed twice in room 1 and 8. Beds are comfortable and bedding is fresh and clean. Showers are powerful and hot and the body washers feel amazing, coconut and minerals! Room 8 has two seating areas, free WiFi. Breakfast - has a wide range of continental choices PLUS cooked if fancied. We have had both and both really tastey. The hosts are warm and welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Always there to offer assistance but not overhearing. They encourage guests to report any issues so they can be resolved immediately but we didn't have any. There aren't many likewise hotels that offer the same wellbeing facilities that the Chatwal does plus the hosts make fabulous cocktails in the bar. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay. X
The entrance to the car park is tight but then opens up but we have a large car so this isn't a negative. There is cctv on the carport which is good

It’s a good place. Comfortable and clean.
The fact that I had to pay to use the hot tub/sauna because is didn’t book directly with them.
And that breakfast was not complete, even though it said breakfast included. I had to pay extra to get a proper meal,
