First time we Stop was in July and it was great the second time we stopped in August was not very good
We stopped for two days and three different rooms very dirty the shower won’t switch off and we have to be moved yet again and the staff couldn’t do it

Great location and room good size as there was 3 of us plus plenty of room for luggage
Not enough plug sockets in room. Seems that some had been covered over. Only 3 sockets in room - room has Tv, fridge and kettle so had to keep jiggle things about to charge up phones/iPads etc

Liked the room change to a Seaview although we didn't have a bath in that room. When we had a working shower it was brilliant and so was breakfast. Dining room staff and cleaning staff were helpful and pleasant.
Requested a cot on booking, waited for 90 mins after check in for it to turn up when it should have been in the roo.. 1 of 2 key cards didn't work so was back at reception for that too. Finally had a room change on 2nd day as room on 4th floor had no hot water. Doesn't help when travelling with a 1 year old for just 2 days, we weren't the only ones. Spent more time at reception and carrying luggage and travel cots etc between floors than actually enjoying my stay with my family. Was a bit annoyed. Did hear reception staff offering out drinks vouchers to other travellers in check in so must have been a variety of problems this weekend. Maybe I should have complained more or just left with a refund. Parking at 14 quid a night is steep, if you travel in quiet times there is free on road parking next to the hotel. If my lad was capable of walking I would have parked there.
