I think it’s tired, easy to tell it’s ex Hilton but standards not the same
Glass at front entrance not been cleaned, mirrors in the front foyer are the same. Place looks tired and in need of refurbishment.

The hotel was very far away from Blackpool town.
When we got there the room ( which apparently was an upgrade) was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Also the window in the room was screwed shut so it couldn’t be opened, and the room was boiling hot, the accoutrements (coffee and tea etc) was poor there was only 1 1/2 toilet rolls in the bathroom also the shower was filthy with hair and dirt on the shower tray and the drains smelled really bad and there was no toilet brush to clean the toilet with.
Also 2 days in too our 4 day stay the TV stopped working,when we went down to reception the staff there were very mater of fact about the situation and said to us that they had a leak and the satellite box got wet ,and when we asked when it was going to be fixed they said they didn’t know when it would be fixed,they also said that another part of the hotel had to be shut also,
There was no signs or notification about this at all, and we spent the last 2 days without TV , when we left it still hadn’t been fixed,
Also while we were in our room someone knocked on the door,and asked if he could carry out some P,A,T tests on all the electrical equipment that has a plug on, I’m a builder and I regularly have my electrical tools P,A,T tested,and what this young man done was definitely not what is supposed to be done, he didn’t even touch the items or tested them he just filled a sticker in and put it on the items . Not being funny but there could have been a serious problem with say the kettle and I could have received a nasty shock from it.

The hotel was easy to find, and all the facilities were very good, the food was very nice, and the prices were very reasonable, the pool was nice and the staff were very polite. It was also great that there was a fridge in our room as we needed to keep our diabetic needles cold.
The only thing that I can comment on is that there was no changing of the towels in the room, which meant we had to use the same towels throughout the 4 day stay.

Staff where lovely, the reception bar area, restaurant was spotless.
The room was basic, bath was disgusting not clean at all l, black marks from people's feet and dirty round rim. Beds with rock solid, had a sore back since staying and my son. Mattresses had stains all over them also.

We were only there an hour before getting a refund and going to a premier inn down the road. Curtains didn’t cover the window. Hair on pillow that was not one of ours. Rude staff. Pot noodle under the bed and dusty.

Great location easy parking and the staff were all friendly and helpful . Bed really comfortable
Very dated looked like furnishings had seen better days - desperately needs a spruce up .

Its a nice enough hotel, better from the inside than outside. But you know, for blackpool standards, enjoyed the stay, clean and decent value for what you get. £7.50 per day parking, which is cheaper than on the private car parks.
Its a good walk to the pleasure beech as its at the far end of the strip.

The window won’t open and the rooms to hot. So the Hotel needs new Windows. I would like The Management to phone me to to see how a positive improvement can be made.The main point being is how can the Hotel finance the actual work that is required so the Guests have real value for money. It’s completely n totally unfair that Guest have no discount due to the Hotels ongoing problem. Much regards Stephen ??
