Very Good
Location is great for transport links and for food and entertainment locations. 2 minutes walk from the coach station and similarly to the front. Plenty of bars and restaurants working a 5 minute walk means lots of choice.
Can be a little noisy for those who sleep early due to the location and proximity to food and drink places. No issue for me but could be for some other travelers

Exceptional
Couldn't fault it, my room was exceptionally clean. Everything was fresh, the view was good. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (I have sciatica and slept great), the ensuite bathroom was a decent size. Again, shower hear was fixed in place but it's a "rain shower", hot water basically on demand. Great place, for what I paid well worth the money. Recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, comfortable place to stay. It is a no frills kind of place, no breakfast, good decent sized mugs for morning brews though. Easily within walking distance of either North or South Blackpool.
Nothing, everything was spot on.

This could be a great little place with some TLC however, it is still a good little place for a few days as a base. The owner, I presume she was the owner was friendly and polite. Never saw her but then I didn't need anything. You get a decent sized mug for the morning brew, you even get a decent glass incase you need a drink of water in the night or have pop/soda/squash/diluting juice with you. Bed was very comfy, duvet was heavy, you even got a fleece throw on top of the duvet which was nice. Despite being in the centre of the city it was pleasantly quiet. Even with my window open as I like fresh air coming into my room.
What I didn't like...
The shower head was unmovable as it is fixed to the wall which isn't a problem if you're vertically challenged. I however am over 6' so it literally gave me a headache. it was in need of a good clean as it was covered in slimy scum. The toilet has a leak from underneath the cistern. Room is in need of a paint job and some plastering work as it looks like there was a leak at some point which came through the ceiling. The towels were as soft and fluffy as coarse sandpaper, compared to some places where I've had no towels I was grateful none the less.
Overall, a good place. Little run down in need of TLC. Would I book here again, yes. I can overlook small details like those mentioned above. If you want a quiet place for a good rest I recommend this place.

Very Good
The woman who runs this place is always very nice. This time she put me in a double room even though I'd only booked a single. I was very comfortable there. The shower had one of those big square heads, which was a real treat. The wifi was good. The price I paid was very reasonable for a weekend. And I had a great view of the Tower!
The only negative is that the location on a busy road means there can be quite a lot of noise from outside, but with the window closed it's really not a problem.
