Would not recommend staying at this hotel it's disgusting, stair carpets are black with how dirty they are, dirt dust and god knows on the floors everywhere, paint job awful can tell they've only been bothered to do one coat of paint everywhere, cleanliness of the hotel absolutely disgusting really bad smell dust everywhere in the room nails half in the walls, screws holding the laminate down, holes in the bathroom walls where things used to be, hot tap moves when turning it in, mold in the shower, shower water cold, and shower head broken where it comes out the connection and the head, TV has not been pat tested since 2024, TV remote filthy and back all taped up wouldnt even touch it, no bin in bathtoom, no bath mat, only 2 towels, bed broken, no headboard, only 2 flat pillows, curtains didn't match, dust everywhere, water damage on the ceiling in more then one place, dirty window frames, roof outside the window was covered in cigarette ends under wear and god knows what else, gaps around the door to the bedroom, stairs leading to the bedroom you could also get to the back of the Indian restaurant and easy access to the side of the hotel where there was an alley which to me isn't safe at all, booked to have breakfast there but was told upon arrival that the breakfast is served in the Indian restaurant that was linked to the hotel which we made a decision not to eat there because who would serve English breakfast in an Indian restaurant?? Plus that didn't look clean either. Couldn't believe me and my partner paid £156 for 2 nights to stay here absolutely disgusting will never stay here again. Would add more pictures if I could.

The staff were great and helpful.
But being honest spent very little time there. I wasn't in the calypso, as when I checked in, I was informed that my stay was in a hotel down the road. So apart from my check-in , breakfast the following morning. I only spent a short time there.
Being in a hotel that I hadn't booked. However, that was fine as I had booked for the Rebellion punk festival and only really after a place to sleep and shower.

The location
Size of the room too small for two people bathroom dirty but shower was great no where to hang your wet towel bed very un comfortable could hear everything including a member of staff swearing and shouting in bar area early in the morning

Can't really complain for the price stayed here with my partner and 2 children, now I'm disabled but can still walk little distance, we was lucky got first room, take in mind lots of steps. But we got lucky with first room. Will definitely stay again, even let me put my power chair on charge thank you
Nothing really not to like kids loved it like i said can't complain for the price. Only thing was I did book 2 double beds ended up with double and 2 singles but no biggy we just put them together

The lay out. Nice wide staircase up to the room. Even had a stair lift. The room was huge.
WiFi code could have been in the room. It’s down by reception.

Staff were accommodating for my sons disabled buggy being left down stairs.
Floor in room hadn't been mopped or swept. People smoking outside front door just came right in the room

It was struggling with my 6 months old as I had to walk a lot to go to the room by stairs as it was on 3rd floor without lift. Room was good but we are exhausting while going up and down especially with our stuff. Staff service was very good.

Broken window handle, which was broken before we came in. Very dusty on the floor. Bathroom absolutely disgusting, fire alarms going off at 6:30 when it should be around 9am. Window was open all night when cars were driving fast last night. Beds not tidy, no extra pillows.

That it was close to the venue I was going
The dirty bathroom the dirty floors rusty sink the whot looked like blood splatter up the wall I couldn't get a shower in their or wash brushed my teeth though skirt boards were filthy I slept on top of the quilt imagining whot lyed beneath me gutted with it I left early in the morning couldn't get out quick enough and didn't want a breakfast or a drink in there also no iron facilities like it said bad experience really
