Location was ideal, close to everything but not too noisy. Staff were all lovely. Food was decent enough.

The rooms and corridors are dated, but clean.
We chose this hotel at a higher price as spa facilities are promoted, which we were looking forward to using.
It is NOT explicitly clear that this is at an additional charge until we checked in.

Room was very big. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was hot.

Disappointing
Excited to stay in a different kind of hotel, football club seemed a quirky idea. Breakfast was nice
The noise outside our room from as early as 7.30am, so much out of season work going on in the stadium. Men stood outside our bedroom window just chatting and working. No prior warning about this. Rude member of staff at check in, keycard randomly stops working, bedroom was basic and we paid the same price as our friends who had a lovely big room, full floor to ceiling windows and more homely. Room was freezing, couldn’t get heating working. It just kept dripping water.
Sofa bed randomly set and made up for a room that was for 2 adults so no couch to sit and relax on. Just overall disappointing after such excitement!
