Nice room with sea view, comfortable chair and bed. Reasonably clean and breakfast adequate.
The shower was barely usable with temperature never stable going from scalding hot to freezing cold every few seconds. The bathroom in general could do with updating. The room cleaning was erratic and tea/coffee/ milk weren't topped up. Not enough power sockets particularly near bed.

Love how dog friendly the hotel is! Staff are friendly, rooms are comfy and clean, and the breakfast is good (but could do with more veg/vegan options, even if just veggie sausage)
It's a shame you have to pay extra to park at the hotel even as a guest. It's not very expensive (£5 per night when I stayed) but it would be better to be included in the price.

The location
I commented on the excessive amount of gristle on my steak and the staff simply said "sorry". We returned to our room and found the TV was locked on a particular screen. Switching the mains off and back on again did not help. We contacted reception and an hour and a half later with no response, we gave up and went to bed. Having a toe stubbing step up into the bathroom is also poor. The bathroom extract was not functioning, As a serial Best Western user I am extremely disappointed, and probably will not utilise this chain again.

Location suited us. Breakfast was ok.
Room was tiny, double bed was against the wall, so only access from one side and the bottom. Mattress had a slope on it so sleep was impossible.
Shower was hot, then cold, then scalding. Room 223. Avoid.

Staff very friendly, entrance/dining area well presented great location. Ample parking. Great view from sea view room
Bedroom very tired, room we stayed in needed attention. Paint peeling off the ceiling. Bathroom not in the best condition. Unfortunately our room was full of fruit flies.

Staff were great! Everyone was so helpful. Location is right across from a tram stop and there is an uninterrupted view of the sea.
We did not eat there this time but have stayed before and the dinners on the menu were not that good. We were under the eaves on the third floor and it was so hot. Caulking around bath was moldy, tiles were coming off, carpets were stained, not enough electrical outlets.
