Had parking
At checkin male clerk commented " so u booked with that horrible booking.com" then proceeded to advise how we paid so much more by not booking direct. Also stated he could check us in at 2pm instead of 3pm but that it was very unusual ! After taking a shower realized no towels were in the room, had to dry off with a floor mat till I could ring for towels. Noticed no spare toilet roll in bathroom, just an empty hook where one should be, plus lower shower nozzle 1/2 broken, spraying water out the side of handheld unit. We left at 8am next day returned at 8pm found a " do not disturb" on our door, which we did not place, so no room service done. In all . My overall rating is no more than a poor 4, would never book this hotel again. I had used it once before as I was flying out of Belfast City airport and location was ideal. I dont blame housekeeping staff, but instead blame lack of training, no quality controls to ensure compliance, all of which show extremely poor leadership in management.

I liked that the building was beautiful, the staff were exceptional, and the breakfast was delicious.
It was a bit out of the way from the heart of Belfast, but the cab ride wasn’t that expensive.

It was a beautiful hotel, very comfortable and the food and drinks were delicious.
I wish there were mini fridges in the rooms and/or vending machines (there may have been, but no one told me nor did I see any) for water bottles, soda, etc. I like to enjoy a cold beverage in my room after a day of sightseeing, and here the only option seemed to be going to the bar to get one. It’s not a huge deal and didn’t wreck the trip or anything, just would have been an extra nice convenience.

The room when booked was classed as a "Superior room". It was adequate for our needs and the bed was comfortable. However, we would not have classed it as "superior" and it was not worth the extra money paid.

Reception welcoming and pleasant. Very good breakfast. Good range of options, food was hot and fresh. Breakfast staff were welcoming and helpful. The overall experience was pleasant and restful.

They didn’t tell us we needed a physical bank card , I don’t have a bank card as it’s on my phone . They didn’t except Revolut cards either , thankfully my husband had his work card but it would’ve been a long drive home had he not . Now that I know I’ll be prepared but I think it should be told beforehand

Phillip who checked us in was wonderful. Went through everything and was so lovely. The room was very big and spacious
The bed was two single mattresses put together and with there being no air con, had to use a fan from the room
