Beds really comfortable with beautiful pillows .Breakfast very good..Staff very friendly. Rooms really quiet.
We didn't have a car. We are in our 70s. The walk to the main entrance is very long and hilly. No signpost on main road to show entrance of hotel especially if you on public transport. Need to open an entrance into the hotel somewhere near the main entrance..

Breakfast was excellent - good choice and fresh fruit was excellent
Check In: Staff at reception was very efficient and well prepared - check in went very well.
Bar staff / meal: was exactly what we wanted after a days travel and sight-seeing. Bar staff very helpful and worked hard in a positive and humorous manner to upsell the latest whiskey spirits.
The room was over heated and stuffy. I opened the window to get more air but the window doesn't open sufficiently to allow a good exchange of air.
Air in the corridor was also very stuffy and close. This was a complete contrast. to the reception area and bar where the air felt cool and fresh.
Need to work out how to exchange the air in the accommodation block more efficiently.

Staff were fantastic and although I only had a short visit (late check-in / V.early check-out) made sure everything I needed was not a hassle or inconvenience. Kindly pre-booked me a Taxi to Airport for early departure. I ordered Room Service, and this was delivered in under 30 Mins to a time I gad intimated. Excellent Guinness on Draught too.
Room lacked Air Con. It was a warm and humid evening, so room temperature could have been a little cooler.
