Good
The staff were great. Very friendly and always helpful, no complaints there at all. The location is spot on too, just a short walk into the city centre and Victoria Square, so it was handy for getting around. The room itself was grand.
The hotel is a bit dated and could do with a refresh. The bed was uncomfortable, which was a shame. Breakfast was hit and miss. The first morning it was good, the second morning it was poor, which you wouldn't expect for the price.

We ate in the restaurant the steak was unreal . The room had everything we needed. When we came back after a night out the curtains had be drawn and a dressing gown with chocolates were on the bed , lovely personal touch. The buffet breakfast was unreal, there was so much choice with lots to choose from. Highly recommend
We had a lovely view out the window but the windows outside were really dirty, I had a fry but the bread was pretty much raw which I didnt like but I had enough at the buffet that it didnt bother me.

Wonderful
Loved almost everything
Unfortunately one of the bar waiters had terrible body odour, staff in 5 star establishment should be clean with fresh clothing

Breakfast was great with many selections. In addition bar food for an afternoon snack was excellent.
Concierge gave us incorrect information regarding train service in the city. We were told we could purchase same day train tickets to Dublin. That was inaccurate as day of travel the station said no tickets available for two days. Since we confirmed twice with concierge about the process, it was a little disconcerting.

I booked this stay for my wife and her friend.
My wife’s comment after the stay was “try getting me back in a Hilton after I’ve stayed there”
She said the stay was outstanding.
