Fair
Excellent location but expensive given the quality of the room, facilities and breakfast. Staff were excellent in the restaurant and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal which was good quality and reasonably priced. Bar staff were also excellent.
Reception service was inconsistent. Some staff were great but others were less approachable. Breakfast was not what I’d expect. Very little fruit on offer and the breakfast was not the 4 star Ulster fry I’d expect. Hard bacon and served too quickly to enjoy any of the continental offering. Staff need to allow a bit of space between ordering and serving hot food. This hotel was very expensive for what it was. We paid over £1400 for 2 rooms for 3 nights yet my family paid £500 for 1 room for the same nights and we can’t work out why ours was more expensive for the same class of room.
