Exceptional
Very nice hotel in a good location, nice big comfortable room.
When I booked this hotel I thought it had parking, when I first opened this site page on booking.com it says parking or the parking symbol in two different parts of the page, however, you need to continue on looking closely because there is NO parking at the hotel, it cost 20 euros for overnight parking, secondly the bar staff are poorly trained, they are extremely nice and helpful but when I order a pint of Guinness I expect the bar person to know how to pour it, and I also expect some knowledge of how to make a cocktail, need better training.

The friendliness of the staff.
The room was a little warm but think that was more weather related than anything else.

Staying with Patricia and Richard was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland! They’re incredibly kind and sincere, and they made us feel truly at home. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. And their house? It’s in the most amazing location—breathtaking views and pure tranquility! We really hope to be there again and enjoy such great conversations with them as we did!

Very Good
The room was beautiful and very comfortable.
The lobby is small and the front desk seemed to have a line much of the time, but this was a minimal issue.

The full breakfast was very good!
There were only apples as the fruit choice. I expected a large variety of fruit!

Poor
Location & staff
The noise from the karaoke bar underneath (which is owned by the hotel) sounded like someone was singing in our bathroom !
The hotel promptly moved us to a quieter room once asked but this was an upheaval at 11:30pm as they explained the noise would go on till 1am.

Very Good
Great location. Breakfast on 2 days was excellent but not so good on our last morning. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening which was really good. Room was very spacious and clean. The shower was lovely and spacious, Within walking distance of most attractions and lots of bars and restaurants.
There was no where to dry towels in the room after a shower. No rails or hooks to hang anything in the bathroom. The supply of teabags was a bit hit and miss. The shower although lovely and spacious either scalded you or froze you. The temperature of the water was extremely hard to get right. The oddest thing I had was a double duvet had been folded in half and put into a single duvet cover. It was too heavy at night and extremely hot. I managed to unfold the duvet but it hung down over the bed and was very heavy. Bar area could be a bit cosier and with more comfortable seating

Pleasant
Location is very central. Staff were prompt when I asked for more milk for the room. Decor of rooms and corridors is nice.
The whole experience just felt average. There are no leisure facilities at all. The breakfast was bog standard and could have had real orange juice and some yoghurts for the buffet. 1 teabag per guest in the room seemed a bit stingey. For the money I paid I was expecting abit of a higher standard.
