Tara Lodge was a perfect location for us - near the Botanic Gardens and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Belfast for site seeing and catching buses for places a bit further out of town like The Titanic Experience . The staff were so helpful, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and our room was very comfortable - just perfect after a long day site-seeing

Everything was perfect. We arrived very early but our room was ready. Breakfast was lovely , with plenty of choice and cooked to order. Beds very comfy. Every thing we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.

Position allowed you to walk into the city. Plus it was close to good restaurants.

The whole place is so welcoming. Staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. We also got a complementary upgrade and our room was fabulous. Also that shower was one of the best that I've had in my life. So powerful. So calming.
It's also not that I didn't like this, but the hotel is a wee bit out of the city. Takes about a 25/30minute walk to get into the hub and bub and the centre. The walk is lovely however.

It's always nice to come back to a place you haven't stayed in for a few years to find that, if anything, it seems better than before. Tara Lodge was always well-maintained, and we arrived on a Friday evening to find it immaculate and as welcoming as ever. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is generous and healthy, and the staff always do what they can to make you feel at home. Just around the corner from the local train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and only a short walk to QUB (and the Botanical Gardens), the location is very convenient for anyone attending events at the university.

Location was brilliant, could walk to station to catch train to Titanic Museum, lots of restaurants supermarkets very close by. Lovely large room with Tea and coffee making facilities, there was a lounge on level 1 with a great bookshelf. Breakfast was very plentiful both continental and cooked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, nice quiet street.
