The whole place is so welcoming. Staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. We also got a complementary upgrade and our room was fabulous. Also that shower was one of the best that I've had in my life. So powerful. So calming.
It's also not that I didn't like this, but the hotel is a wee bit out of the city. Takes about a 25/30minute walk to get into the hub and bub and the centre. The walk is lovely however.

It's always nice to come back to a place you haven't stayed in for a few years to find that, if anything, it seems better than before. Tara Lodge was always well-maintained, and we arrived on a Friday evening to find it immaculate and as welcoming as ever. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is generous and healthy, and the staff always do what they can to make you feel at home. Just around the corner from the local train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and only a short walk to QUB (and the Botanical Gardens), the location is very convenient for anyone attending events at the university.

Location was brilliant, could walk to station to catch train to Titanic Museum, lots of restaurants supermarkets very close by. Lovely large room with Tea and coffee making facilities, there was a lounge on level 1 with a great bookshelf. Breakfast was very plentiful both continental and cooked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, nice quiet street.

Unfortunately the area around the accommodation has some deteriorating social issues relating to drug and alcohol.
Having said that we were safe and not approached at any time.

Properly clean and tidy. Room was exceptionally comfortable with one of the best showers I’ve had the joy to stand under.

The Tara Lodge was smaller than I expected. The location was fine. The desk attendant, Heather, was wonderful in recommending traditional music and good food.
We couldn't find the stop for the Hop On Hop Off bus. When we did find it, the route was almost over. We did see some of the murals.

The staff took very good care of us. Our room had a lot of space and was very comfortable, had all we needed. Our daily breakfast was taken on the ground floor in a cute little area. The food was good and the service was great. Hotel is just around the corner from a busy shopping area with large range of eateries which we sampled a few with good results.

All staff I saw were friendly, helpful and approachable.
Initially arriving walking down a street of houses I was unsure if I was in the right place but as soon as I stepped in the door all doubts were gone.
