Wonderful
Great breakfast, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and a very clean, comfortable room.
The neighbourhood did not feel particularly safe, and noise from the adjacent room, including the TV and bathroom, was clearly audible.

The location was perfect for our one night stay in Belfast. There was plenty of on street parking as the hotel lot was full so we didn’t have to venture far to park.
The staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff fast and friendly.
I would recommend Tara Lodge for your Belfast stay.

Close to Botanic Gardens and train station, and easy walk to many restaurants, etc. Helpful and friendly staff.
On-site parking was limited. We found a free spot in the street, but if the university had been in session that might have been difficult.

Wonderful
We chose to stay here as it offers parking and we were lucky to secure a place throughout our stay. The staff are all outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, prepared exactly as we wanted it. The laundry service was very efficient and reasonably priced, per bag if you preferred. One of our party had broken her ankle a few weeks before and the hotel was able to move her to a special handicapped room.
We had a problem with our toilet which the staff tried to sort out for us. The weather was very hot and there is no a/c. Opening windows helped though our room was by the railway so there was a little noise. The local area is rather rundown and we saw several homeless people. We never felt unsafe, it was just rather sad.

Pleasant
The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good.
We did not like the location of the hotel. There was no parking left in the hotel parking lot so we had to park in the street and were worried about the safety of our car. Although the area didn’t look safe, we did eat at a nice Italian restaurant just down on the Main Street less than 5 minutes from the hotel. We would not stay here again.

Great Location.
Room was too warm. A bit stuffy, even with windows open. The back alley had some young children smashing glass and screaming at each other one night for x as bout 2 hours .
