Peaceful
The apart/room I booked was not what I expected from the photos and I didn’t feel comfortable. Luckily the reception staff were able to relocate me to a more suitable location

Wonderful
I stayed in one of the refurbished apartments- Excellent- I did not use the living facilities but I had a great sleep. Also the young man at Reception for Check-in was really friendly.
The TV reception was poor. It kept stalling , making it difficult to watch a programme but I am sure it has been remedied since-I reported to Reception upon check out.

Very Good
Very comfortable rooms after recent renovations. Nice breakfast. Nice bar. Did not dine in hotel
No information in room. Struggled with temperature settings in room. Room cold when arrived.Kept going off line when yried to turn heating up.. Ended up ringing reception and they adjusted heating remotely. Everything fine then but frustrating trying to adjust heating as looked like could not from room.

Good
Friendly staff and good location. Dinner menu and experience was excellent
‘Superior’ room was small and had a view of a brick wall, steel bars and a cigarette strewn gravel yard.
The Breakfast needs a serious ‘upgrade’. eg very low grade bread, firm tomatoes and low grade tea.

Wonderful
Trendy boutique hotel. Nice neighbourhood, close to downtown, but not too close. Turns out hop on hop off bus stops right outside. We didn’t use it, but in retrospect, it would have been a good deal. Good bar, nice staff.
We were in renovated new area across the street. That was OK, but we never really figured out the shower. Went from hot to cold and back without warning. It might have been our lack of knowledge, some in room literature would have helped.

Location is excellent
Room was the smallest, and most expensive during our 11 days in Ireland. The hotel has a feel of past grandeur with some currently worn edges. The front is attractive and newly painted so restoration may be in process.
