Fantastic welcoming staff who were all very helpful and friendly. We arrived just after 8am and as expected our room was not ready but took our luggage and advised to come back at 1pm and would have room ready for us. Same gentleman on reception who not only recognised us but also knew which luggage was ours and asked how our son had gone on at football that morning as I had spoken about that with him. It's the little things that make a huge impression and the staff at Malmaison certainly did that!

Unfortunately my cooked breakfast was forgot about and I had to ask and wait 10 minutes for new one to come out.

I always enjoy my stay at Malmaison. Such a lovely, comfortable and stylish hotel in a great location. The staff are always so lovely and the food is delicious. Appreciate having a fan provided in the rooms also as the temperature gets very warm in them.
The only small issue is not having the option for full overhead lighting and a full mirror for getting ready, especially for events or anything..

Good location. Bus stop for 600 bus to GB City airport just round the corner. Helpful reception staff. Tea & coffee making facilities in room.
Unimpressive hallway/entrance given the grandness of the building. Tiny reception desks. Whole hotel was painted in dark oppressive colours.
Mattress protector under the bedsheet had blood stains on it. (Room 208)
Room not available until 3pm even though the hotel wasn’t busy. No minibar.
