Friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom with a comfy bed. Great buffet breakfast with a large choice served in a nice lounge/ bar area.
Perfectly located for bars, restaurants and central station.

The food was good and the staff
When I was booking I put in a hotel with a pool and it brought up Crowne plaza and the Clayton. So I booked the clayton we were so disappointed that the pool has been closed from covid so I think you need update your information. So it was not value for money

Great location, good temperature control in room
Bed sheet not fitted to fully cover mattress, room not made up on first day, no towel changes in 3 days. Staff at breakfast weren’t particularly welcoming, we felt uncomfortable asking fur coffee machine to be fixed and to order porridge.
We attempted dinner one night but we were placed at bottom of big hen party ‘u’ shaped table arrangement - was like we were in their party and very loud m, competing with live music in bar area on other side so we left.

Initial room was not up to standard, and cost value benifit, it did not appear very clean, dust and stans on the carpets etc, after complaining we were moved to a new room, that was better. In general die rooms just appeared tired, in need of a revamp to justify the cost
