Location
The room felt a little tired, bathroom definitely needed a freshen up. We stayed 3 nights and the staff at breakfast were rude and more interested in having a “chat” than doing their job.

Our first room looked onto a brick wall, we needed to crane our necks to see the sky, it felt like a dungeon. The staff informed us that we could not change rooms as they were fully booked. The following day, Thomas, the duty manager found a new room for us that faced the street (and sky) which was infinitely better. When we checked in, we were given one room card between 2 people. Reception insisted that one room card was their policy, meaning that if we both went out separately, one of us would not be able to access our shared room on return. Adam the lovely night manger gave us a second key card, a normal and reasonable expectation in other hotels. We later heard through the grapevine, that there was a shortage of cards.

Staff attentive and excellent. Room service very good, housekeeping very good.
Rooms tired, need a refit. Not sure I room really was deluxe Our room when we turned sink tap on, shower went off!! Carpet had blood stain.

Rooms were lovely but a mini fridge would make it even better just to keep the water provided cold. Beds amazingly comfortable. The server (older guy) who brought our pizza out was so lovely actually made our night.

We removed Duvet Cover as we were too warm, and underneath cover duvet was stained and not in any suitable condition for use, it was disgusting.

Room cleanliness Long wall mirror had finger prints on the bottom of it and there were cobwebs clearly visible in the room
