Wonderful
I loved the food at the hotel restaurant, it was exceptionally good, especially the beef burger.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like

Poor
Good location cumfy enough room
The reception staff treating me like i was a criminal trying to get a free night. I used there self check machine in reception as ive tapped my card it took the payment then the machine said error and they didnt believe me the payment had been taken even after showing them my banking apps. Once we was in the room the rang the phone multiple times complaining about the payment so i went down to the reception they insisted they put my card details on the system as a just incase. We stayed the night and within 10 mintues of leaving they took another payment. I went back 2 days later to try sort things out get my money they over charged me back and was made to feel so small and uncomfortable even tho it was their error

Wonderful
Location and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was also excellent.
Some of the bedroom furniture was scratched and would say needed replacing to support an update.

Very Good
Very convenient location, room perfect albeit too hot. Again duvets were for very cold people, and we removed the quilts from their covers.
Just the hot duvets.

Pleasant
Staff were lovely, very pleasant and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were a good temperature. Water pressure in the shower was very good. Well located, a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city. Parking in the paid car park behind the hotel was easy.
Carpets were quite stained in the room. The bathroom wasn't very well cleaned and the paint on the bathroom door was lifting/chipping off a bit. It was fine but for the Clayton, we expected a higher standard. The room was quite dated and in need of refreshing, especially the bathroom. The hot water took a long time to reach the bathroom taps, had to run it for at least a couple of minutes before it got warm which is quite wasteful if this is done across all rooms at the hotel. There was a towel hook on the back of the bathroom door for bath towels but nowhere to hang hand towels to dry near the sink.
