Poor
Nice lobby … great communal toilet facilities … that’s it !!!! A facade for the rest of the mess they are giving paying guests.
Room(s) had to move twice were a disgrace!! Fixtures and fittings hanging off doors, dirty beds with stains, no pillow cases on pillows. Cold water, no heating & broken safe in both rooms. Dirty carpets, mouldy bathrooms. Asked for upgrade prior to arrival and clearly wasn’t given one for guest room despite a complaint a very very rude abrupt lady on reception implied I was just complaining and I couldn’t move rooms! Only to be moved later that day by another member of staff when door handle fell off in my hand fur bathroom and found no pillow cases on bed. At £130 per night it was a disgrace. A premier inn or travel lodge would have been a serious upgrade. Other Clayton’s I’ve stayed in are a high standard this was a joke. I’d actually say it was embarrassing and we had travelled in large family groups for an event. Several had to be moved including disabled traveller’s.

Wonderful
Bedrooms were spacious with good wardrobe space available. Free water is provided. Reception staff were all helpful. Walking distance to the bars and shops
Price of a pint of peroni was £7 in the bar which is very steep

Wonderful
Good size room, very spacious. Extra comfy bed in the deluxe room. Good location.
Room refresh service could've been better. Didn't restock tea and coffee or renew towels. When they did take towels for laundry they werent replaced.

Disappointing
I like the hotel in central Belfast
I did not like not being told about the credit card option in Euros or Sterling it was too late as the payment went through in Euros and I paid approx €8 extra. I always pay in the local currency - not this time who gains for the extra payment?

Good
How cold it was in the room when first arrived. How cold it was at dinner & breakfast time in the dining area and how cold it was in the foyer to sit and have a drink. Spoke to reception at the end of the stay and they said they’d speak to maintenance. Hopefully it will sort the matter out.
