Disappointing
The location is good a lovely setting on the canal. Room was quite spacious
I think the rooms are very dated, dismally lit and the lime scale in the kettle is shocking, couldn't even make a drink this needs addressing immediately

The cleanliness. The whole place needs a makeover. It would look better if they tidied the outside areas especially the gardens & flower beds they were all over grown with weeds. Its very run down and low maintained

Breakfast was incredible and the staff were more than accommodating when one of our TV's was damaged. Its such a cute place to stay and we all said we would definitely stay again.
One of the lights in the room was quite a bright harsh white, so we didn't use it, but i'm nitpicking, we loved everything!

I liked the spa bath the big big the style of the whole of guys is lovley!
I didn’t like the pillows on the bed they where flat and uncomfortable I think they need upgrading,
Some of the room was dusty on the windows and a stain in the bath looked like a brown burn.

Location
Considering you booking room for romantic escape because it has jacuzi.its far oway from reality and expectations.it was near 120£ in first plase in next plase i wont concider if was 40£.the porpose off room is romantic ascape or not shelter for homless.i have some pictures to pruve my point.

Warm welcome, big fluffy towels. Comgortable bed Everywhere spotlessly clean. Easy north/south stop over off M6. Bus stop close to head into Garstang for the evening. Pay for what you have breakfast, unusual but turned out to be good value.
It seemed a bit worn in places, would benefit from some upgrades of soft furnishings.

The staff,location,bed,room size.
Sound proofing. This is the only genuine concern regards privacy. The noise of the plumbing ie toilet refill. An addition of a small fridge and separate toilet only light would be welcome.
