Location is superb - 30 second walk to Departures - perfect for an early flight.
The food and staff are very good.
The room was pricey at £170 but I guess airport convenience comes at a premium.

I chose this hotel based on its proximity to the airport, as we had a very early return flight. 300 yards or so.
I also liked the check-in; the staff member was very pleasant and welcoming.
There was no breakfast included in the price, which i did know about, and we had an early start so it wasn't an issue.
I was disappointed not to receive robes in the room; these were listed on the facilities when I booked the room. It may not sound too bad, but I was really looking forward to a relaxed evening after our very hectic day. I did call Reception and was told this was not applicable to my specific room

Service was extremely slow, blankets at end of bed were completely torn to shreds and a fight broke out at 2am with lots of yelling swearing and slamming doors which caused some anxiety and broken sleep otherwise was ok

Good location as expected for an airport hotel walking distance from arrivals, signage ok but not obvious.
You can walk to the reception in 5 min but spurious info re bus transfer and route were not required after arriving after 10pm in the dark.
Very basic room with almost no additional services
It had a hair drier towels soap & tv
Not especially clean beds/ mattresses had seen better days chipped paint no a/c window opens 25mm.
Considering price premium a £200 a night room needs to do more than a £30 travel lodge to justify the price hike on location alone.
All staff worked hard to cover the deficit but the hotel management left them exposed.

Staff great, v friendly. V clean. Restaurant good, breakfast great.
'double' bed made up of two single mattresses. Different heights, one side mattress was fine, other side springs gone. Very uncomfortable, couldn't sleep. Checked in late and had early flight so no point spending time switching rooms.
Window wouldn't close properly, could hear the air traffic in the early hours! Might as wel slept on runway.
Tried to raise complaint at reception on check out, was given a hotel business card and told to email. No response as yet. Not happy at all.

The staff were all wonderful; friendly, helpful, hard working. The guest who was checking in ahead of me was absolutely bonkers, and they handled the situation very well. The food was reasonably priced and much better than expected. I'd definitely stay again.
Kind of a barebones facility, not very appealing. The bed was ok but not terribly comfortable.
