Very Poor
We could not access the property. Despite having a confirmation number and PIN Drom booking when we went to pick up the key they told us the reservation had been cancelled. They tried to get us to stay in a less appealing building. We declined. No explanation nothing. Booking.com was NO HELP at all! We found alternate accommodations which were lovely.
Could not stay there. They cancelled our reservation with no explanation.

I can’t say what the property was like as when I arrived to check in I was told that it was double booked I was offered an option 10 minutes away or hotel room in another hotel. Had no option as needed somewhere to stay. Willl not book this property again

Fair
Like others we never saw the property. Booked last minute. Had to go to four seasons to get the key and told we had been upgraded to the Ty Belgrave on the water. I booked the place for the parking. Belgrave you have to park on the street which is not easy in this town

Disappointing
We didn’t stay at the property- we were not told until after we’d battled trying to park in torrential rain that we had been moved to another hotel.
Cannot comment on room but car parking at rear of property is limited and very awkward to get into. We were allocated an alternative apartment which we were advised was an upgrade, which was indeed very nice. However it was an attic room up many stairs & we struggled. We weren’t consulted or advised before arrival that our booking of a ground floor room was changed to one up winding stairs.

Pleasant
It was disappointing to arrive and our accommodation (after having to enquire the reason why) was double booked after we had made the booking first for 2 nights and was apparently overlooked with a subsequent 4 night booking taken to supercede our booking. We had no apology for this but just placed in a loft with a supposed sea view in a promenade apartment which one had to peer through via the slanted roof. What made it worse was it was on the 4th floor and my wife had a bad knee to clumber up the stairs. There was no parking either which was available on our original booking. I had to make 3 trips up and down the stairs from a great distance where my car was parked on account of it being busy on the Easter Bank Holiday. This was recovered by being offered a 2 bed accommodation on the 2nd night (in the original area where we were supposed to be lodged on our initial booking !) It was only after complaining from my wife who was most unhappy that we were provided this accommodation which has to be said was lovely. The management did instruct the cleaners to be steadfast in the delivery of our accommodation that we were transferred to. We enjoyed our stay overall but felt the town of Aberystwyth was a bit run down except the view from Constitution Hill was excellent and walking along the promenade was fun too.
Town of Aberystwyth was run down. We received no apology for being placed in other accommodation we had booked. The apartment in the sea promenade loft felt crammed and was like a studio. I bumped my head at least 3 or 4 times as did my wife a few occasions and she's only 5ft 2" !! No parking in town.
