Nice location, lively pub downstairs.
Room 6. Small. Horrible view from the window, couldn’t leave the window open due to noise from air con outside, woken up early Sunday morning with vibrations and noise from the tumble dryers from a room in the next corridor.

The location is perfect if you want to be in the centre of Aberystwyth. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite.
The hotel is very old and dated and really needs a massive renovation. Some people like the quirkiness of that and thats fine but for me there were too many noises coming from the toilet and creaky floor boards that were annoying through the night stopping me from having a good night's sleep. The TV didn't work in my in-laws room although it didn't bother them, if it had of been the TV in my room I would of wanted to be moved as we do like to wind down at the end of the night watching TV. I have stayed here twice bow and the first time we definitely had a better room so I was abit disappointed with the room we had this time but thats not to say i wouldn't stay here again if the price was good.

Great location, a few mins from the station. Lovely Italian restaurant across the street, good restaurant round the corner, nice bar two streets away.
Friendly staff.

Due to the old sash windows and the storm, there was a loud whistle through the window. Easily fixed though.
