The replacement hotel was close to where we needed to be.
Getting a phone call on the Thursday before you're going to stay telling you that the accommodation is double booked is not great. We were offered a replacement cottage which worked fine but that cottage was dog friendly and accommodation we booked was not. I spent £135 on a dog sitter when I did not need to. Frustrating!!! The handling of the booking, considering we had already paid was nothing short of utter incompetence. The new property is OK but TV in the downstairs bedroom did not work and fixture fittings and decor need some TLC. Could be outstanding but the finer details are not being addressed.

Absolutely nothing
Dirty - could not check for 2 hours after the time told. And was subject to listening to a very heated and loud argument between staff at the reception Few towels and cutlery and very cold as no heating at night so slept in clothes . Very noisy and light at night . Shower tray had hairs .

The property was just like home to home and it was clean today beautiful inside. Only bad point was the quilt was to small for the cover so most night one of us just had the cover no quilt and sofa was a little low felt like it was breaking in the middle. But other than that it was a lovely place would highly recommend and will def be going back. It was also close to the town and restaurants

Moved to a different location on the sea front, quite modern facilities, comfortable beds, very good Wi-Fi, smart TV, plenty of space, dishwasher, excellent showers.
One or two minor stains on the sofa. No other criticisms.

The apartment was lovely, great size and well equipped.
The Friday night was perfect, however the Sat night , whoever was upstairs ran about the place for hours on end, after finally falling asleep , there was banging on doors and then the running about again at 03.49am.
Just a shame as everything else was brilliant.

Didn’t even get to stay here! Avoid at all costs. Please read!
We were redirected to the “four seasons hotel” to collected the keys. Waited 20 minutes to be told the apartment wasn’t in use, that they’ve tried to shut down bookings but Booking.com wouldn’t let them. Told they tried to contact me - however I and no correspondence.
Eventually were told that they would book us into the neighbouring Gwesty’r Marine Hotel and Spa, which was allegedly “more expensive” anyway. We reluctantly agreed after quickly seeing some okay pictures online. Wow, the room we were given was unclean with stains on the carpet, live plug sockets hanging off the wall, broken headboard, and the fire alarm going off at 1am. There were no fire safety instructions, so we were left confused and scared not knowing where to go or what to do!
We also noted that whilst waiting in the four seasons, another family who had also booked the apartment was also being funnelled into the Marine hotel and spa.

The location
We were told an hour before checking in that they hadn't picked up our original booking, so we didn't get the property we had booked, we wanted a self contained apartment, we ended up with 2 rooms at a hotel round the corner, not very impressed

Location was fabulous with floor to ceiling view of the sea. The apartment was very clean with good kitchen equipment available.
We were right in the centre so could hear people outside but not a problem at all.
